The first room I stayed in looked very nice but both air conditioning units were leaking. I had called the front desk and the lady to me to wait for their maintenance guy to come. After 20 minutes he never showed up. I had places to go and needed to get ready so I called the front desk to ask if he was going to come and I asked if I could just be moved to a different room. They put me in a different room but is wasn't as nice as the first. The first one had a nice paint job and new furniture, the second room had outdated furniture, just didn't look as "nice" as the first room and the phone did not work. But for 88 bucks and it's location I think it was well worth it.
The staff was helpful and very accomodating.
My Monarch Room had two beds, a separate area for a couch, chair desk and TV. Each room has a microwave, fridge, sink and counter. There were two TVs and a decent size bathroom. The drive from the strip is less than 1 minute away. It's close to Aria, MGM, M&M Factory. Hotel is across from Hard Rock. In the opposite direction of the strip there is a small shopping center with places to eat and a CVS. After taxes, my room was $88 per night. Compared to my friend's room at the D hotel on Fremont Street, he paid $121 for two beds but didn't have a kitchen area or seperate "living room" area with couches. Good staff, no resort fees, no extra cost for parking.
