-the Tenderloin neighborhood is loud & full of bums. It's hard I sleep at night when there is so much screaming outside -
Its close to downtown and free parking is good. Area has kind of many home less but all downtown SF got it. Its not bad for 1-2 night. Room and shower were clean but blankets not.
Staff needs to smile . I pay money and I want some welcoming. Hotel near to subway or train so its shakes little bit when you sleep.
Location, showers and friendly staff advice.
The stuff is very friendly, great location in the heart of Downtown, decent breakfast
Parking spots on first come first served basis
Area of town
Neighborhood. I did not feel safe at any time.
close to hospital
parking lot to narrow
Value for money Cleanliness Comfort
Very bad neighbour The staff was just OK When I asked for direction peoples systematically told me: "you don't want to go that way, it's a very bad neighbour" pointing at the direction of the hotel.. It was kinda funny as I was living there :)
Internet connection is terrible Breakfast area has almost no space, so you have to wait in line even if there's just one other person there
Staff and comfort
free wi-fi, large room
the hotel is situated in a bad position (according to the taxi driver it is in one of he worst place in San Francisco), sirens all night long, poor breakfast to be consumed in your proper room because there is no place to seat
The size of the room, the shower was unusual.
The location was okay although there were several homeless in the area expecially Ellis street, it made my partner and myself feel a little unsafe. The room itself was fair although the walls were thin and the aircon smelt like smoke, The customer service was appolling the owner was rude and inflexible and extremely unwelcoming.
It's very well located. The room was comfortable and clean.
The staff was the worst. The manager of this place is a terrible person. If you stay here, try not to engage in too much conversation. During breakfast, the guy won't take his eyes of you making you uncomfortable and, even breakfast time ending at 9:30am, by 9:10am he wouldn't give us more milk and wanted us to reuse a coffee capsule.
Superb bathroom specially the shower
The middle aged guy at the front desk was quite unpleasant. No fridge in the room. Too expensive.
Staff is completely impolite, room was not clean and noisy, a lot of homeless people around they sleep on the stairs
The room size was small, and conditioner was just near my bed, so i catch cold after first night. Second night we opened window but we could't sleep because of noisy street.
The staff gave us many tips for what to do and was very helpful. Comfortable rooms with everything you need.
The location is good because it's central but the part of town isn't very safe in the evening for a woman.
The location & hotel was clean.
No bag storage if you want to leave your bags after checking out.
Staff was very friendly. Hit it off with one of the managers and talked some basketball and trivial expectations of some tourists who always expect something for nothing. The location was great, as it is really close to where I wanted to be and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Not my first stay here and won't be the last either.
Parking too little space
In city area can get public transport easily.
1. The area is not very good to walk about. 2. The male manager (i think) is very lousy. I asked about how to use the coffee machine. He told me how to use it. At the same time he thought that I do not know anything at all. When I wanted to change a second capsule for the second cup he told me the first capsule can still be used I just keep quite and follow. It was of course lousy. 3. Breakfast may be provided but no place to sit and consume. worst of all it only open at 8am and small time gap to use. most people will have gone out to work or tour by then. 4. The bed is so unusually high that we need to claim up and cannot use as a place to sit. 5. After we checked out early morning we told them we will be back for our car at 2pm. They allow only till 1 pm. We do understand there may be other customers need to use it. But then when we are back at 1pm we saw few lots still empty and we ask for a half hour extension so that we can have a quick lunch before moving the car but refused. 6. of my whole one month in USA this is only the lousy experience I have with this hotel. 7. I will never recommend this. I am a easy person and never make complaints but this is too much.
The boss, a very kind and funny guy ! If I have to go back in the hotel, I will never hesitate !
Very clean and modern. WiFi was faster than my home WiFi. Large room. Always a parking spot open. Great place to stay.
Nothing. Everything was great. Will be staying here everytime I visit S.F.
clean, good wifi, close to downtown
place of parking is limited and is not quarantee, localization - close to downtown but also at the edge on the worst part of SFTenderloin - this is not safe place during the day and esp after dark and you need to go around of Tenderloin if you want to go to the downtown. it is OK to go to the Van Ness street and you are in the familiar area of SF
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Location is a bit sketchy but it is San Fransisco, what do you expect? We were never bothered.
