The staffs are very nice and helpful
They charged me amount of 478$ more than the price when I booked on booking.com and also charged 150$ for the deposit fee. Could you ask whether Alexis returned me the deposit fee yet?
Cleanliness of bathroom (almost brand new), few good bars within short walking distance, only 20 min to the union square
Terrible wifi in rooms, totally unworkable. Location not as central as some older reviews suggest and the area felt a little rough. Reception desk could have been a little more friendly or helpful
clean, quiet, adequate lighting (most US hotels poor lighting).
no breakfast until 0800.
The arch way to the bathroom. And how close it was to bars and city hall.
Better communication between booking and the hotel. The person working couldn't answer a lot of our questions regarding our reservation through this sight
My husband and I stayed here a couple weekends ago. It was a good stay. The main concierge, Jason, was extremely helpful to us with directions and recommendations on what to do and how to get where we wanted to go. He even changed our original room to accommodate my husband's COPD and gave us a first floor room instead of making him climb stairs to the second floor; and it was with a jacuzzi for only $10 more per night. The room was clean, bed really comfortable. We didn't spend much time in our room as we were only there for the weekend for my birthday celebration; had tickets to the final performance of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County at the Curran Theatre. Great show!!
My only complaint is that I accidentally left behind in our room 2 posters I purchased at a a store in Haight Ashbury District. When I realized it after we returned to Oregon, I called the hotel but was told the maid probably threw them away if she had found them. I feel that sucks the big one. What if what I left behind had cost more than $20? Do they throw everything away immediately and not even let the customers have a chance to retrieve their belongings?
I love the location. It's located kind of centrally to everything and makes it easy to get around. Parking is free. My rooms have always been clean and comfortable and the staff have always been friendly.
The TV was big though dish network is lame. Parking was free. Ok location in...
Coffee maker didn't work. Weird shower with extra spigots.
Loud street. Rude staff
the shower was nice.
We asked for an hour extension on checking out, while there was barely any people staying at the hotel at all and they wouldn't bend even a little bit. The person we checked in with was a young man and he was nice enough. But the older woman who checked us out was extremely rude and made a specific point to scowl at me. She was happily talking on the phone with someone when i walk in and her face immediately turned into a frown once she saw me. I would never stay here again due to her rude behavior for her guests. I hope she sees this because her demeanor was deplorable and she should learn how to treat her guests.
The location was perfect for us. A leisurely 20-25min walk from hotel on Polk st to the wharf or the other direction to Union station district. From Lombard st you can catch the free Presidigo bus that will take you to some interesring museums and galeries including the beautiful Walt Disney museum and Golden Gate Bridge. The hotel apparently was recently renovated. Room was very clean with extra amenities ( magnifiying mirror, body spray jets in the shower) and The king bed was very comfortable. As for breakfast we loved the fact that we were able to take our toasted bagel and coffee (were other items available as well ) on our leisure walk. On the whole the 3 days 2 nights we spent in San Fran was beautiful. Our next trip will include our kids for sure.
The room was small but very clean. Great shower with body jets and a nice diner around the corner for breakfast. You can pay a lot more for something nicer but how much non sleep time do you spend in the room anyway.
The property was kept very clean. The room was comfortable, clean and updated.
When I was checking out, the clerk kept insisting I had a 3rd person in the room. We were visiting a friend and we frequently came back late and left early together. He ended up charging me for an extra person! Not a great neighborhood.
Close to central sf areas. During the day, not too bad to walk around
In the ghetto of the tenderloin. Stay off of Turk st at night if you do not know the area
location, near everything clean room and updated shower.
location, noisy at night and many homeless people but that's the Tenderloine for you. I would stay there again unless I find something cheaper to expensive for my budget.
The room had extremely comfortable beds, a 42 flat screen tv, excellent air conditioning and nice furnishings. The bathroom is very clean, and the shower is top rate, with a unique massage system. The continental breakfast, was a nice touch. A great choice for an okay price.
The neighborhood is bad if you veer too far off of Polk. The best bet is to go to Van Ness, for public transit and walking routes.
facilities including bathroom were clean
was charged for baggage storage after checkout
-the Tenderloin neighborhood is loud & full of bums. It's hard I sleep at night when there is so much screaming outside -
Polite staff. Basic room. Firm King sized bed. Great price. What more could you want or need for a 2-night business trip?
Hotel wifi is abysmal - couldn't even load Google homepage without errors.
Its close to downtown and free parking is good. Area has kind of many home less but all downtown SF got it. Its not bad for 1-2 night. Room and shower were clean but blankets not.
Staff needs to smile . I pay money and I want some welcoming. Hotel near to subway or train so its shakes little bit when you sleep.
Location, showers and friendly staff advice.
The stuff is very friendly, great location in the heart of Downtown, decent breakfast
Parking spots on first come first served basis
Area of town
Neighborhood. I did not feel safe at any time.
