We loved the breakfast and the great conversation at breakfast! Alla is a great hostess and we loved spending our honeymoon at alla's
Alla is the most passionate, eager to please B&B host we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We stayed in the main house and have never slept so wonderfully. Alla treated us like family, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided something most B&B hosts don't offer--wonderful intriguing conversation! If you are antique people you will walk around the house in awe as there are so many wonders she and Rick have collected over the years. Thanks Alla and Rick. See you next time.
Alla is the greatest hostess known to "bed and breakfasts!" We loved the antiques and the coziness of the house. Comfortable and affordable!!! Beautiful!!!
We were blown away by how welcoming and kind Alla and Rick were to us. We stayed two nights and upon arrival were greeted with hugs and wine. It was absolutely lovely and we ended up getting lost in conversation for hours with them. Breakfast was delicious and the room was gorgeous. We will definitely be back and look forward to having dinner and a spa package next time. :)
I was greeted like a long lost relative, treated like royalty, the house and its decor were amazing. Food was out of this world.
The decor was amazing and they spent a lot of effort in making sure everything was perfect for their guests. I've not stayed in a finer B&B than this.
The food is excellent and so is the service.
I had to leave when the weekend was over.
The historic house was fascinating with lots of interesting antiques and has an interesting story. Food was excellent. The hostess was fascinating, and did her best to make us feel at home..
We did not stay in the historic house. We were in an old 50's house, with original kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom was very small and was shared with two other bedrooms. There was no place to set anything in the bathroom We were the only guests there at the time so did not have to share the bathroom. Our room was very small and the queen sized bed made it very crowded. It was not worth what we paid. There was nothing historic about the house, it was just a typical 3 br house from the 50's. There were no updates in the house. TV was old and very limited choice of channels. Reception was not good and all TV's including the one in our room used rabbit ears.
Alla and her husband,Rick, are incredible hosts. The organic breakfasts were superb... so tasty that one would try to fit more in one's stomach. All the antiques are very interesting. It felt like home...only better! I plan to visit again.
I wish Alla's was in Illinois or minnesota rather than Texas. I could take a getaway more often.
We love the place, special the owner Alla, she is so friendly and sweet, we feel like family. Food wonderful.
The only thing i will change is the location of the bathroom because it was out from the room, I will prefer have the restroom and the room.
I loved it! I would go again
Just wish bsthroom was in room
Feel stay with family
The warm & personal hospitality of Alla & the delicious breakfast.
