    location and view

    price was too high for what we got. Elevator not working big line ups because of a wedding. No Wifi working. No coffee in rooms. No fridge in rooms.

    The location. Long Beach is a great town. While I was there a flee market was on the boardwalk with great trinkets and food. The beach is beautiful. A volley ball tournament was fun to watch. Felt very safe in the area even at night. Great restaurants in the area.

    The staff appears afraid and intimidated by what I can only assume is upper management. I have seen this behavior in other business but not in the hospitality sector. Each hour that passed while I stayed there I encountered an issue with service and everyone of those issues was mishandled by the staff. Clearly Leadership at this hotel has created an environment of people who are disengaged. I not only would not recommend this hotel, I will make a point to share my experience with everyone I can. I suggest you take a hard look at your management and get someone in place that can motivate and engage the staff with positive reinforcement. You are in the hospitality business. A hotel filled with negativity and poor service cant possibly be your strategy.

    Great location, beautiful beach, bar and lounge beautiful. Most staff members very friendly and courteous.

    Elevator was out a good part Of the day. No drinks in the room. Shower is terrible.

    Convenience to New York. Staff nice.

    No bar or lounge area. Rooftop pool area could use a real tiki bar with food. Not family friendly. Need outdoor dining on main floor.

    Beautiful location!

    Service was terrible. Hotel elevator not working and had been out prior to arrival. Should have been fixed give only 2 for hotel. Rooms need updating. Stingy on amount of towels in rooms.

    We have recently stayed in Other comparable hotels in NY., as well as comparable standard hotels in Isarael, and value for money, they do far far more for the client than you do !! Room service, food portions, breakfast variety and cost, you pale in comparison.

    Perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the beach! Free entry to the besch with the hotels beachcard, sunbeads, cabanas. Staff was kind, serviceminded, spes thanx to Max and Devon at the front desk, Jesus, Roberto in the restaurNt and Cathrin at the roof top poolbar! Keep it up!

    A little bit cold in some parts of the hotel, mesasine level and restaurant. Cleaning of the rooms could be bether..

    Beachfront location, rooftop pool and deck, bar area, cool restaurant which was very good. Junior staff at the pool and waiting staff in the bar and resto etc all of whom were faultlessly polite and helpful. Starbucks franchise in the foyer run by by very helpful lady with excellent coffee and inexpensive pastries, croissants etc for breakfast.

    Rooms are small (typical of ny) aircon doesnt appear to work in any rooms and front desk management don't give a damn ($25 resort tax discount offered with a shrug or proposal to "send and engineer up" whilst knowing full well that the systems are completely ineffective) no coffee making, no hairdryer. One night including dinner for 4 adults cost between $500 and $600. No jfk shuttle service so be prepared to pay $60 each way in a cab.

    Location

    I've booked this hotel hoping to have a nice stay at the beach. Be ready for long check-in/check out lines by not motivated and rude front desk staff (Michael). Beware: they tag on an additional $25 fee claiming that they are a resort hotel during summer months. Beware also that rooftop pool can be closed for the entire day for events without guests being previously informed. Room had water lick stains on the ceiling and there was mosquito action inside bathroom shower. In general staff was snobby and unpleasant.

    Pool on rooftop, closeness to beach, large room and bar restaurant.

    Check in line at hotel was long - not enough staff at front desk. No air conditioning in my room. Complained 4 times and was told engineer would look at it. By 11pm engineer just changed the filter and didn't know what the problem was. Many guest in the hotel complaining about the same issue. Bathroom not clean. Floor of shower had mildew. I wore my flip flops to take a shower. They had no other rooms to offer me. Wasted several hours complaining and couldn't sleep due to no air conditioner. Would never return to this hotel again.

    We loved the boardwalk, the beach, the hotel restaurant, the food trucks down the boardwalk, and bicycling through the west end of Long beach... The Allegria was a wonderful quick getaway for my wife and I.

    Beach and Rooftop pool

    Second visit, both times had to wait more than 1 hour after check in. This was even after asking ahead of time to accomadate early arrival. Inexcusable!!!!

    Location. Access to beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and cabanas. Comfy bed. The restaurant is great.

    My family had 3 rooms and in 2 out of 3 the air conditioning was broken. I ordered a fridge for our room but it was broken. And when I got back to the room instead of a clean bed there was a note that said they couldn't make my bed because there were personal items on it. I have never seen that before. They should have a note before that says that - not after!!

    Nice location on the beach. Remodeled and nice atmosphere

    Check-in was stated as 3:00. We were not able to check in until 6:30 as they did not have a room ready. There were a fair number in the same situation. No broom or other way to sweep up sand from the beach in room. Staff cold, not helpful and could care less about our inconvenience.

    At first glance, beautiful hotel

    Everything. Disgusting dirty. I forgot the dirty razor outside our room for more than 12 hrs. Room service and towel delivery still staff left it there. Rude managers. Awful stay. No AC. No compensation.

    The look of the room

    The blood on our bedding. 2 hr late check in. Uncomfortable bed. Air conditioning broken, staff ignored the complaint about bedding and ac. The late check in caused us to miss the first hour of a family surprise anniversary party, nothing but an over priced stressful stay. Upon complaining (more) at check oily, the manager didn't charge us 25$ for the beach use. Which is supposed to be included in the stay. Waste of 500$. Took them 3plis weeks to charge our account as well, I thought maybe the general manager Nassir wasn't charging us after a detailed email to him. I was wrong. Awful, will never go back, nor get married there, which was the reason for us trying it out (we are from Eastern Long Island). I've never complained about a bad drink in my life, just took it in stride. This hotel is beautiful, but TERRIBLY run.
