Location is very good.. Michigan avenue is a ten minute walk away.
We had just 24 hours to spend in Chicago and the Allegro was in a perfect location for sightseeing, great restaurants & visiting friends. The stylish decor & comfortable beds were also a plus!
Location and free wine tasting.
Excellent location, great restaurant and lounge, enjoyed the 5 pm cocktail hour and snacks. Staff was courteous. Room temperature control was good. Decor in all public spaces was very nice. Room was quiet. We did not hear noise from street traffic.
Valet parking cost is excessive. Room, particularly the bathroom, was small. So was the closet.
Friendly staff at front desk Bed was very comfortable Lounges are enjoyable The bar was fantastic and as well as the staff
A little pricey
The rooms would be small of a family but for a single or couple its perfect. The free happy hour was nice. The hotel was clean and I felt very safe. Good for work location and was easy to walk to all the major sites from hotel but ended up taking a taxi back. However, it is on the loop so public transportation would be easy to use.
-location -close to the blue line, 3 min walk off the train from the airport -free wine and beer from 5 to 6 -clean -quiet -forgot to bring deodorant and hair spray, they provided it for free!
-washroom was tiny
Beautiful facility. Friendly efficient maid and lobby service. Maid service was over the top. Perfect location to see the sites and shop. We look forward to a return trip.
Between early arrival (room not ready) and actual check in, our reservation was misfiled and no record of our booking could be found for 10+ minutes even though we received a call that our room was ready. Our 3 letter last name was evidently misspelled. Woops!
Beds are very uncomfortable.
Room are small and price expensive and no breakfast
Close to where I needed to be
The location, the room, the comfort. The reception at the first floor.
The lack of breakfast
Rooms were entirely too small, no pool, had to use stairs every time I left hotel. Never would I come back, I should've booked at Hyatt MUCH MUCH better
The website didn't provide details on the size of the room. Room was way too small especially for the price and the cheapest parking around for a rental car was $40/day. Not worth the price for a shoebox of a room and had to pay full price for the first night even though we notified hotel we'd be checking in at approximately 1:30am because of the flight arrival time.
it's locationally close to many things, because it's in the north western part of the loop, dunkin donuts and a starbucks for a nice breakfast. and an italian restaurant all on the same block.
rooms are quaint
The location, The service and facility.
Everything was close by, so we were able to walk most of the time. Look and feel was modern and chic.
Hotel bar closed at 9pm. Bathroom was really tiny.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was clean and pretty convenient to the loop.
The staff wasn't very friendly or helpful during our stay.
Starbucks on the same building of the hotel, there is a door from the hotel to it! Pet friendly hotel. Free Bikes. Modern Bathroom. Big bed. Excellent location!
My neighbor was loud and I could hear it all night. I liked the bathroom, but it is small. If you are overweigh the bathroom could be too little!
we always stay at th Allegro when we come from Glenview Il to go tot the theater. Great location as we can walk to all the theaters and great resturants. Malinium Park and the Art Institute is close
We had a refurbihed room that was dione very nice but the room had only one chair. There is enough room fro another chaire and smll table and additional lighting
Good location for theater and for court business. Staff was very helpful with directions and local events. The valet team was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
No free WIFI
Mini bar! Location was awesome.
Wait for elevators was ridiculous!
