The room was clean, but furniture was dated. The building was not well light. The sleep number bed DID NOT work.
The price for the room was excellent.
Huge rooms, comfy beds and great shower/bath facilities. Excellent value $244 for 4 nights when we got hotel through booking.com about a week before our trip. Terrific location with free shuttle to universal studies and disney, however staff were grumpy and said printer was not working when I wanted to print out universal studio tickets (seemed very unhappy that I had not purchased through the hotel, but on line purchase was cheaper). We did not try the hotel restaurant which was almost empty, however Outback restaurant nearby was great... easy walking distance to restaurants elsewhere. Free wifi great. As we spent most of the time at universal studios, this was a terrific option for a visit with this being the primary purpose.
Restaurant in the hotel and the pool area were virtually vacant... no atmosphere in the place, but probably November not ideal (cold pool)... but Universal visit 3 day park to park was amazing and definitely worth while.
Very nice hotel
Ice machine was broken, soft drinks were $2.50, Bar was closed
The first room smelled so bad we had to be moved and the ceiling above the shower had mold. The carpet had stains. The beds were rock hard. The sheets had holes in them as well as the furniture. The tv stopped working. The shower head in this room was coming off the wall. Fridge sounded as if it was on its last day. Front desk never answers the phone. When i WALKED down to complain all i was offered was new sheets. They did refund my money but that was the ONLY positive experience of this place
Great location. Lots of places to eat.
Pool wasn't heated and looked dirty. I think they were having problems with it. Bar and resturant weren't open. It looked as if they were going out of business.
We had to change rooms several times because they kept giving us rooms next to the guest laundry, which was very loud. The concierge was worthless, and we got more helpful information from bus drivers. The "shuttle" was a bus shared by other hotels which arrived either way too early or way too late to get to the theme parks on time and was a real pain getting back. We ended up taking the city buses and walking several extra miles per day, as well as a lot of money on cabs because the hotel was so misleading about their shuttle service. The pool and spa are not actually at the hotel, but at the YMCA behind it, which meant it can't be used in the evening. We didn't even bother with the $10 breakfast buffet, and none of the staff was very friendly or helpful. All in all, I would not recommend it. Certainly not deserving of your money or the word "resort" in the title.
Hot tub not working properly, pool not heated,lounge/bar closed down, restaurant only open for breakfast etc.
Super clean, comfy sleep number beds, nice staff!
double charged stayed one night charged card for two, (disputing now) very few channels on tv.
We love to get away and when the price comes down you cannot beat allure Resort. What a great value for the money. Great location close to everything. We will always keep coming back!
Wish we had the time to stay longer.
It was a clean room in a great location. It is easy to get to and a lot to do around this hotel. Pool is wonderful, it would have been better if they heated it.
The Staff at night was not friendly or helpful in locating our room. We had to drive around outside, and realized our room was in the other direction. We put our bags in the room and went back to relocate the car closer to our room. Pictures show flat screen TV's, we had the old style and picture was very blurry.
We went as a group for an event. We all booked at the same time and I paid much more than the group I went with. The room had stains on the carpet, and the walls were dirty. There was no late check out time which would have been nice considering the event was at the hotel. The breakfast bar's warm food was cold and the breads were hard. The price for the breakfast bar was expensive considering the small amount of options.
Clean rooms Great Value for money Close to Universal Studios Friendly
Couldnt get wifi to work
Pool, pool time, no breakfast, the outside pretty but the inside poor
Nothing.one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in................
Everything. Bar Closed Restaurant closed Swimming Pool Closed. Breakfast Appalling Staff Useless. Old Fashion and dated. Would not give it 1 star.
Last day room was not cleaned up.
Throughout our vacation we did not spend much time in the room or the hotel, but when we were there the staff was ready to help whenever we needed it. Also, we had a room at the first floor but we didn't have any problems with traffic and car noises all night.
In our opinion everything was good.
Very clean room, bathroom, bed very nice, mattress new. Hotel always clean. Staff very friendly, always willing to help.
Outside smoke area could have a few more ash trays, Other than that a great stay.
Staffs are friendly very helpful and rooms are big and clean .
great staff, nice place to stay, breakfast
when we arrived the hotel was full eventhough i did my booking 2 months before...we were accomodated in the other hotel for the night then came back the following day...strange
The mattress was not good quality there was no WiFi there was no small towels to take a bath with. The pictures on the internet was not what it is in person...
It had a fridge, microwave and working coffee pot.
Overbooked and moved from King room to Queen. Sleep number beds that didn't function well. TV remote with dead batteries, even after asking for fresh batteries or a new remote. Spent the day at an amusement park and asked for extra towels. Took almost three hours. Bathroom sink had no cold water-turned off under the sink-because of a rather rapid drip. Towel rack was in shower. Moved them to the back of the toilet tank to use tub and a hand towel fell into toilet as it had no lid. Second day we were given no washcloths.
Because when I arrived they had sold out if rooms. So I was going arpund Orlando in the middle of the night trying to find a room for my family and I. They didn't even gave tbe nerve to call and tell mev that they were over booked.
Access to restaurants at hotel were very poor. If I had blinked I would have missed it. Access to basic carrying equipment was in the other building and was returned immediately by staff. That was annoying and hard to get my things to my car.
King size sleep number was very comfortable. Room was nice and clean.
Staff not very helpful or knowledgeable. I called ahead to see if room would would be available for arrival 1 day early, was told this was not a problem. Upon arrival (1 day early) was told they were booked up and could not honor my early arrival. We were then walked to their "sister" property next door, free of charge, after my explaining the conversation I had when called prior to arrival. The sister property was obviously at 1 time a nice hotel but has fallen downhill drastically. During the night our bed broke and we had to sleep sloping downhill! Next day we were accepted per our reservation after being told we were marked as a No-Show from the night before! We tried to continue on with our stay until next day our TV went out and when complained they took out our 42" flat screen and replaced it with a 19" box TV with no remote...Really? $100 a night and that's the best you can do? The next morning I went to front desk to request an early checkout. Discovering I had been charged a $100 no show fee as well as charged for the entire stay and had not even signed the first piece of paper!! Not even a registration card...the manager tried to tell me that the central office had to approve any refunds. I had to refuse to leave premises until I got my refund before the manager attempted to help. If you stay here watch your P's & Q's as far as charges go! Hopefully the staff will be better trained upon your arrival.
Close to parks (no more that 20 min from each park) Lots of places close by to eat Good Breakfast
Bar was always closed Not enough towels Pool is not like the picture at all
