Very pretty. Good lighting
I liked everything about the hotel and the location. Very trendy decor. Very modern. The room was quiet.
The elevator operation was not explained to me so the elevator would not take me to my assigned floor of the hotel and I got stuck. I finally was able to get back to the registration floor and then the elevator scan card requirements were explained to me.
Starting the second night, there was a weird, recurring whining sound (presumably coming from the air conditioner) that was loud enough to wake me.
This is the only place we stay when we visit Asheville!!! Great location, great rooms, and outstanding service!!!
Walking distance from various shops and restaurants. Staff was able to provide suggestions for both.
Poor sound proofing. Able to hear conversations and bathroom from the adjoining room. I must assume they could hear ours as well.
It was clean, modern and very well laid out.
I had an adjoining room with a young couple and we heard everything they said and did. They had sex twice in one morning which is impressive but not to listen to!
Clean Rooms, Great soaps :), location was wonderful, staff was very friendly
The heating/a/c sounded awful. It needed to be serviced or put down
Perfect location, love their pet adoption program
The room I booked was not the room I got. Moved rooms and it still wasn't correct.
Rooms modern and clean, Great view of mountains from 6th floor. Good internet/wifi. Convenient to restaurants and bars.
This was a gift to my son and his girlfriend. They raved about the hotel, the bed and the staff. They loved the location, parked their car when they arrived and did not move it until they left.
As trivial as it may sound, my favorite part of the hotel was having easy access to the luggage carts located at the entrance/exit to the parking deck and just a short distance from the elevators. Too often, getting bags to and from your room is time consuming. Best I've ever seen and I have stayed at hotels all over the world.
1) When we checked in, I was not asked if I was a Starwoods member. I did not realize Aloft was a Starwoods hotel until later. That question should be part of standard operating procedure. 2) The parking garage is tricky. Each car took at least a minute to figure out whether to swipe their key, push the button or to take a ticket. Overall though, we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend to others.
I loved the location and style of the hotel. Very fun hip vibe. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would definetly stay there again.
Central to all venues and the most modern in Asheville!
Parking could have been included, but with Asheville growing so fast I understand.
Loved it all. They are so well organized and friendly. The hotel itself is very cute and trendy. Awesome place in an awesome town.
I am wheelchair bound 24/7 so location and convenience is key. In this respect Aloft Asheville is perfect. Weather was cold and rainy so having shops and good restaurants right there made our trip great despite the gloomy weather.
Staff and service were good not great and we paid too much. We were there Dec. 5-7 so I guess we hit the holiday premium rate.
Great location. Excellent staff
We left in Seperate cars because of work. We both paid ten dollars each for parking. Wish that the sheets and pillow cases were ironed. Covers could have been bulkier.
Great location for a bunch of restaurants and breweries.
close to restaruants, especially in the rain, and in the downtown where getting around by walking was easy
It was cold and dark; I was tired. Rock music playing on sound system. Genuine smiles at the check in desk! Felt so much better and rooms were clean and quiet. A walk in shower with hot water! Location was great, close to Early Girl cafe & Pearls Yarn Shop.
Our shower was dirty when we got there :(
Tv did not work
Location, Location, Location. Especially great if you are a hipster. Food at the restaurant was quite good.
During our 3 night stay, the wifi did not work on the first and third day. At no time did the key-card entry work for the parking garage, and the solution was to yell your last name and room number into a box that called the front desk. This is a great opportunity to anyone within earshot to order a large meal at the hotel restaurant and charge it to your room by using your room number and last name - not exactly secure. Moreover, the registration desk is on the second floor next to the bar and socializing are, which is fine, unless there is a wedding party with DJ posted 15 feet from the desk, so that, when (if) the desk answers their phone, they cannot hear what you say. This is not really thought out fully - they probably should use the first floor reg desk during loud parties.
Loved that it was in the perfect spot to walk around and enjoy local places. Really quick to get to the Biltmore too. The room was great and we loved the view, exactly what we wanted!
Great, friendly environment. Loved how it catered to dogs.
It was quite the gathering spot. We were here during the week and we had loud partiers on our hall that were loud upwards of 3 in the morning. The 2nd floor seems to be a gathering spots for locals; which is ok, there were just a lot of loud nights at the hotel.
