I liked the fact that with just a short walk I could be on the Q line and to Union Square within about 30 minutes door to door. The shower was great. Hot water and great pressure made for an enjoyable morning shower.
There is a lot of construction going on in the area but I see that as a sign of progress rather than a long term problem. I'm sure the area will be a little nicer looking once evertyhing is complete.
Pool table, atmosphere, staff, good room & shower, good bed. Area very nice, close to Brooklyn bridge and metro.
Some of the facilities (like the swimming pool) were shared with the Sheraton next door which felt awkward. The roof terrace was not a terrace but a club.
The staff is friendly. The room is very comfortable. Close to subway. Very convenient to go to Manhattan Free wifi
the hotel is surrounded by construction site... A nightmare to sleep well!
Nice rooms, good connection to subways
Construction next door
Very comfortable bed and mattress, well designed layout and moderately stylish.
The walls are paper thin - I was kept awake by a couple partying next door one night. I thought at almost $350 a night with tax, it was wildly overpriced for what it is and where it is. It's pleasant enough, but hardly luxury.
Very nice room at a terrific price.
Wifi Speed was excellent, very clean, friendly staff and good room amenities.
Noise from corridors disrupted sleep- room doors seem to let noise from the corridors through (talk/laughing), all doors slam shut in the corridor disturbing rest.
Location Room comfort Free wi-fi
Bed was comfortable
The lobby was filthy. Rooms are alot smaller than they look online
lobby kitchen and amenities, comfortable bed.
Very minimal closet space, unrealistic for travelers. Vanity area open the bedroom, no door for privacy and lighting. No taxi service at entry, only car service rides = $$$.
The location The style Some of the staff understood customer service
The room was under construction The fridge was not working Had to complain twice before they changed the room The fruit I purchased with the $15.00 voucher had mold on it
The room layout was nice. Bed was good.
breakfast option was a little weird. no minibar.
The hotel has an excellent location with a subway stop that travels everywhere within a 5 minute walk. Lots of shopping and many restaurants are all around---another plus! The decor of the hotel is modern and beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and offer a fantastic cityscape view. The "Build your own" breakfast is reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is helpful, courteous and professional. Housekeeping did an excellent job and worked around our schedule. I am really grateful for the the driver who got me to Penn Station with tons of traffic and construction. The front desk got him for me within minutes of me checking out. The flat rate from Brooklyn to Manhatten was $35 and reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel!
Nice bedding, beautiful walk-in shower, nice sink area, great wifi signal.
The lobby was a hodgepodge of what seemed to be 5 differentiated areas crammed into one small space--very disorientating. The room itself was fine, almost nice, but too short length-wise. The carpet had a large brown spill that hadn't received even an attempted cleaning.
Air conditioning hard to regulate room temperature, band playing on 24th Floor till 4am kept everyone awake, construction all around building, front desk clerk with attitude, bartender not always on duty,
the car which we called ahead for was not available and we could not get a taxi to our next destination causing us to lose valuable vacation time on our short weekend in NY
The glass look onthe glass windows.
I enjoyed everthing the beds were great and showers
I loved everything, except the A/C did not work
I didn't like that the A/C in my room was not working properly, and the guy gave my fiancee and I a fan, and told us he would see if he can take care of partial of my bill and when I checked out none knew what I was talking about. Other than bein hot and uncomfortable everything was great. I am coming back into town this weekend fro the dumbo art festival, and would love to stay there for 2 nights to make up for it being uncomfortable while I slept.
Quiet, pool/jacuzzi access, 24 hr gym, bar in lobby (can get a drink in your pjs if you want), roof bar. You really don't have to leave the hotel to have fun. It's close to the city.
No view of Manhattan skyline
Modern trendy hotel Pool table in lobby
Room size seemed small
It's comfortable, clean and modern. I love the pool and hot tub next door. Since I can't swim the 3-4 ft pool is perfect for me
Lack of flexibility of extension of stay. Aloft seems to have too many customers and careless about the request of Customers to extend their booking or give discount on long period of stay.
The hotel is located in a nice area in Broklyn. To get to Manhattan just 20min by metro:) The room was more than great, clean, modern with good wifi access. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
You can pay only via card, even the deposit for the the key must be paid via card. Even though definitaly I would stay there again, If I visited NY.
The service and kindness of staffs was great!!
