the color scheme and the decorative set up of the room was very nice the staff were very friendly
our room was on the sixth floor but the only ice machine was on the first floor that's a issue
The entire experience was excellent. From check-in to check-out. Room and overall comfort was superb. Will stay again
I like the location and the set up of the rooms. When I had problems in one room they quickly gave me a new one.
The first room had problems with the heat (random loud buzzing in the middle of the night. Refrigerator had the same issue. Picture on TV was not clear. Coffee maker didn't work. Second room had heat problems. Female bartender was not skilled and acted tired, bored and disinterested. "We're all out of rocks glasses." My cognac was poured in a pilsner glass. The fire doors were inexplicably closed the first night. No one told guests why. The refrigeration unit for sandwiches, etc. was not working.
We liked the lay out of the hotel and the fact that we could play pool in our down time. We were there after midnight though so it was hard finding good food near by.
I like the décor and comfort of the room.
I disliked the way breakfast is executed. Either make it free, or dress it up a bit more. The nickel and diming for breakfast in the morning cheapens the experience at this hotel. I found it tacky and distasteful. The food they are serving isn't good enough to charge extra for.
The location was excellent. It is between Arundle Mills and Baltimore. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The perfect getaway spot.
The WiFi was difficult to access.
Place was fairly clean minus a few stains on the sofa in room and on walls which could easily have been cleaned with soap & water.

Found hair all over the floor in the first room that was given told front desk and they gave us a different room and as credit for food.

rooms are worn and dirty, bathroom showers have major build up. Carpets are nasty dirty. no blankets on the beds. rude staff. this hotel was built in 2009 and is showing is age, it seems that management is just letting it fall apart. THIS IS NOT UP TO ALOFT STANDARDS
We use some food at lobby , The first day they told me if you pay 49 dollors ,every things you can pick up ,and they will give me receipt. And the second day i pay 49 dollors agin, finally we should get 98 dollors receipt ,but the recept person do not give me receipt ,they said the 98 just one hold wihout deduct and hold ,they can not give me receipt ,lets me do not worry ,they will not deduct any money. But after me back ,they deduct a lot money from my Visa without receipt and notice to me ,i think this hotel very bad credit and management very worse .DONNOT GIVE ANY CREDIT INFORMATION TO THIS HOTEL !!!

The walls are thin you hear everything. Wasn't able to get a good nights sleep. Also they automatically charged my credit card for an unexplained 160.00 dollars.
No power no hot water
The cleanliness and design of the hotel was great. Bar Tender Myron was especially attentive and customer service from him was excellent
In the wee hours of our stay there was a power outage at the hotel. This resulted in a very uncomfortable sleeping experience for us as the air conditioning was not functioning. Also, our alarm did not wake us and we missed an early morning business appointment which we could not reschedule. Upon bringing up our inconvenience, the manager said there was nothing he could do to compensate us for our inconvenience. I find this unacceptable and uncharacteristic of the level of customer service that i have come to expect from the Starwood brand. The experience was enough to make me take my business to a more customer service oriented hotel chain the next time I need to book a room.
Bed could be Best
We stayed here for one night. Upon arrival everything was great. The room was very nice for the price.
We did not like that fact that once we got to our room, within 10 minutes we could hear the family down the hall at least 5 doors away yelling and cussing very loudly. I called the front desk as I have a small child who doesn't need to hear that and advised the desk. They did nothing about it. Later that same evening, as I am walking down the hall way, I see at least 9 people come out of the room. being extremely loud and disruptive. I once again, told the front desk...They did nothing. I will not be staying here again. The staff is friendly, but does nothing to rectify an obvious problem.
The hotel is very contemporaneous

Staff at front desk do not like questions. At checkout I had to ask more than once for a receipt, according to them "Booking.com" would email one. But they got me the receipt from a stack on their desk after I said I would not leave without one.
The front desk was great since the service I booked through neglected to notify them of my reservation. Very helpful with a room when I showed them the confirmation on my phone. Room was delightful was were all personnel. I would stay there again!
I liked the contemporary design.
I would have liked to had a comfortable chair to watch TV in the room prior to going to sleep. The only options were the desk chair or to sit on the bed.
