The hotel is in a prime spot in the National Harbor and close to the Mariner Parking Garage. Very eco friendly facility and was still very comfortable.
Wi Fi was absolutely awful and was the worst I've ever experienced.
I liked the room set ups, the pool area, the elevators were fantastic because they were very fast, the pool table in the lobby and the out door sitting ares were nice as we'll.
I didn't like the FRONT DESK STAFF THEY WERE RUDE AND UNATTENTIVE when u asked for something they acted as if they were bothered to assist you with anything they were not proborly dressed and I work at a hotel my self and I've never seen a front desk staff in leather jackets, jeans or sneakers another thing the gentalmen at the bar was friendly but the drinks were pure water and very expensive, they also have do much space in there lobby they should put a restaurant at least for breakfast
Everything except house keeping staff.
We have to wait and sleep late since they didn't make up our room that day
Bathroom dirty room to small amenities ???
Location in middle of National Harbor Modern facility Close to restaurants, shopping, etc Quiet
View...into parking garage Rooms show some wear after 4 yrs
The room was cool, lobby was nice, great location. Had Showtime channel so I could enjoy boxing
No valet, pool too small, took too long for employees to deliver things to my room that I had requested from front desk
The location was excellent. Right in the center of it all. That was the best part. Everything in walking distance. If you don't plan on spending ANY time in the room or hotel then good place to be.
Paid way too much for this hotel. Staff was friendly but the hotel set up and the rooms were not what I expected. For the price I paid I was expecting Clean and classy. It was I guess supposed to be a "modern" lofty look but not maintained at all. Exposed wires/plugs everywhere. Unorganized breakfast. Hotel looks worn down inside and looks like it's been around a LONG time and no upkeep. And I don't think it's that old! I would not stay there again but I would definitely go back to National Harbor.
Price, location, activities
had to leave
The LOCATION was ideal, the harbour and the Gaylord resort only 3-5 minutes away , i was there for a convention at Gaylord resort but im glad we were staying at Aloft ! Many places around to eat!
There were not too many taxi cabs available n we had to ask the hotel to get us a taxi which was a private taxi n expensive ! To go to the Union Station!
The staff, especially the front desk clerk, Marvin, was very courteous and professional. My grandchildren and I believe that he is definitely an asset to your organization. Our stay was made more accomodating by his assistance.
clean, comfortable, and great location
Construction under my room at 6:30 am. Not great to wake up to drilling
Maurice Thompson was superb in making sure that the shuttle pick me up since I had travel by train from Los Angeles.
Arrive on Sunday, there was a fire alarm and each of us departed the building per directions. I didn't see any staff outside providing timely directions of next steps or what were the reasons for the alarm.
The property is beautiful and unique. Staff was helpful. The beds were comfortable.
The HVAC system was loud and made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The lobby elevator was down and check in/check out was on the second floor so we had to drag the luggage up and down the stairs.
- quick check-in - very friendly - nice rooms
- pool is small - cannot open windows - air condition and ventilation a little loud (especially for Europeans)
Nice Room and Comfort for the price
Basically no complains but it would be nice to heave some room service for food
Limited space of closet
The room and lobby bar
The 11am check out.
It was close to the National Harbor.
The view from my room. The pillows on the bed were very hard. Ice machine was only on one floor. It is overpriced. I paid a lot and was excepting a lot more. From what was quoted on the inernet it more than doubled in price.
Wi-Fi in hotels is sometimes spotty, at best. We had a little bit of work to do, and the ethernet cable in the room was awesome!
The staff is extremely friendly and competent. The location cannot be beat.
We could hear every single conversation from the room next door including their crying baby. ZERO sound proofing.
Bed was comfortable
I liked the modern decor, the bathroom amenities, and the bar area.
I disliked the fact that sheets and towels were not changed unless requested. I was not pleased with the selection of breakfast offerings. Closet space was inadequate.
