Great adventurous experience in lawa tube (if you have additional own strong headlights/torches here is the chance to carry them with you). We had the upstairs appartment with the great balcony, spacious and cozy. Good starting point for all the volcano activities including night watch of "the glow". Shannon was really nice with her advices for sightseeing and taking great care for special request on breakfast (give notice in advance).

    Location

It is quite complicated to sleep in a place where all the furniture was probably found in a rubbish dump. For the money that they charge they could have decent furniture and the room will look even clean. We tried not to touch anything just in case

Quiet, hidden gem amongst the rain forest yet close to the main highway and volcano state park. Fascinating trip into the Lava Tube

Nothing except only one TV station (we were only looking for weather).

Good family house, cozy and comfortable.

The tour tends to take advantage of women! Watch out his hand.

Lava Tube is a very special activity. we spent 1 hour in the tube to the very end. Room is big.

Bed is too soft. Poor management. The tour guide hugs too much.

The location was great to see a lot of the attractions in the Volcano National Park. Dan and Shannon were very friendly and offered a lot of great tips to allow us to enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Nice to have in room breakfast ( fresh homemade muffins, coffee , OJ, homemade jam, assortment of oatmeal, hot chocolate, tea etc) so we could eat at our leisure. Enjoyed the onsite, self guided lava tube tour. We had the tube to ourselves and could spend as much time there as wanted. Hosts provided gloves, hardhats and lights.

location Is excellent for activities around Volcano National Park. A homely unit, the owner had baked muffins for our arrival on a very wet day along with fresh Island fruit we had for our lunch. Due to flood warnings and heavy rain the lava tour was not an option...sounded good.

This is close to Volcano Nat'l Park. Area is in the rain forest so has amazing plants, trees, and flowers. The lava tube tour was great - thought it was cooler than the Thurston Lava Tube in the park!

It is colder in this area - so come prepared for cooler temps - not beach temps. Was great for a different experience though.

Setting amongst the trees was lovely and proximity to the park great. Very quiet, peaceful location and helpful hosts. Lava tube is superb opportunity but would have liked host to have spent a little more time with us once underground.

Missed a stand up shower. Would have liked some ordinary tea and more milk for coffee and breakfast.

Location is good for visiting the Volcano. Breakfast snacks were good.

Strange decor, religion propaganda throughout and room was dirty in several obvious places.

Rooms are like in an older house: cosy and nice. Staff is very nice (Dave is very helpful in providing info on interesting places), fruits, milk, juice, cereals are provided, as well as an delicious jam made from local fruits. Our kids could watch some films on DVD or play games. Location is in the rain forest - it is excellent!

Very high humidity and it is cold at night.

Fresh fruit bowl and homemade breads for breakfast. Fantastic tour of their lava tube cave. Pleasant, comfortable decor. Setting in a lush rainforest. Close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

    Loved it all.
