I could not get the WiFi to work, but I did not follow it up with the staff and it might very well have been because of the storm when we was there.
Great location, first of all due to the lava tube tour in the front yard of the lodge, but also close to the volcano national park. Very friendly and helpful staff, got great tips on where to go and learned a lot about Hawaii from them.

Did not dislike anything but power outage was slight annoyance (windstorm) and walls seemed to be a little thin.
Was remote but cozy. Lava tube was a plus. Shannon & Danny were great hosts. Would highly recommend.

Great adventurous experience in lawa tube (if you have additional own strong headlights/torches here is the chance to carry them with you). We had the upstairs appartment with the great balcony, spacious and cozy. Good starting point for all the volcano activities including night watch of "the glow". Shannon was really nice with her advices for sightseeing and taking great care for special request on breakfast (give notice in advance).

It is quite complicated to sleep in a place where all the furniture was probably found in a rubbish dump. For the money that they charge they could have decent furniture and the room will look even clean. We tried not to touch anything just in case

Nothing except only one TV station (we were only looking for weather).
Quiet, hidden gem amongst the rain forest yet close to the main highway and volcano state park. Fascinating trip into the Lava Tube

The tour tends to take advantage of women! Watch out his hand.
Good family house, cozy and comfortable.
