DUPLICATE Pacific Island Aloha Surf  

very good price for the location, smart staff

Over all we where very happen with our stay. The room was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Rooms are a little outdated as Pacific Island Aloha Surf is one of the older places in Waikiki but price is affordable.

Good that the room has fridge and mincrowave and sink. Managing staff at Waikiki Sand Villa very friendly and helpful. Courtesy beach towel sign- out and pool area use from Sand Villa. Housekeeping was done on a daily basis. As past customers of Aqua Aloha Surf and knowing some staff, stay was further friendly enhanced.

No dishes or flatware. I had to repair ethernet cable for internet. Should replace router with wireless one for Tablets. Other minor nuisances, bought and left behind a rubber flap sink stopper, although housekeeping saw and suppling one for the dish sink. Supplied a short extension cord for the microwave when I moved it to top shelf for better efficiency of space. If our stay was less than 10 days, we would not have bothered with the aboves.

Location was good - close/walking distance to central waikiki. Comfortable bed, balcony. For the location and room it was a good price.

No wifi in room and not the best reception in the lobby, or computer to use at all times. Breakfast was a real disappointment. Simple toast and small crossiant and can pineapple in a cup. No service at all with breakfast it was like a budget school canteen,

The location to the beach , the city bus line and everything we planned to do..

It was just a few blocks from the beach and relatively affordable. The room was clean and decently maintained.

The check-in process was strange. The room I stayed in was actually owned by the hotel across the street. I had to check-in there and handle some small room-related problems at the front-desk across the street. The biggest problem I had was that my windows would not open without a hand-crank that was missing. After calling down to request one, I was informed that the engineering staff had left for the day so I was out of luck until tomorrow. They did remedy the problem the next day, but I thought that was really unprofessional. There were other similar annoyances. When asking for late check-out for the last day, I as told to call back in the morning because the administration staff was gone for the day. Of course, they did give me the late check-out, but I had to cancel some plans because of the uncertainty factor. Overall, good hotel. Slightly annoying and unprofessional problems that you would not expect at a legit hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here. Great location.

No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. It is a bit of a pain to have to go across the street to the Sand Villa Hotel for check in and out and breakfast but the location and the room is sooo good that for that price i cant complain!!!

Very close for shopping and beach! The price is affordable!

At first day, I have to check-in in the hotel across the street! Not Aqua aloha surf itself! The reception did not help me, even did bother to explain why I should go to the other hotel for check-in! It was so weird! It seems that they have management problems! This should not be clear for the guests! Anyway, the reception at the other hotel was very friendly. This calm down my anger!

Loved everything would stay again

Room was clean, had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. I felt safe as a female traveler. Hotel was within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and public transit.

Complimentary breakfast included canned pineapple, canned pineapple juice (while in Hawaii, where fresh fruit is readily available), and had to pay for coffee. Only one coffee packet in the room for the entire stay (should be one coffee per day). Check-in and check-out, breakfast was across the street. Difficult to open window in room (needed a key, I think).

We had to check in across the street. Only one bed and not aware no option for 2. Booking was easy and price reasonable but don't expect much.

The apartment that we stayed in was very pleasant and had plenty of facilities in the room, such as a refrigerator and a microwave oven. The room was definitely a good size and price for the convenient location. It is ideal if you'd like to stay in the centre of Waikiki without paying exorbitant prices.

Our room faced a nearby apartment block so you didn't feel like you were getting any real privacy (sometimes the curtains didn't close quite fully). As it was only on the fourth floor, noise could sometimes be an issue. Also, these particular rooms are actually rented out by the hotel across the street, so you needed to cross the road whenever you wanted to ask reception anything! The included breakfast was definitely not worth it, as it is just toast, pineapple, coffee/tea and pineapple juice, but this is quite a common thing in Hawaiian hotels.

La situation géographique, l'équipement de la chambre (micro onde, frigidaire, cafetière). La serviabilité de la réception qui nous a changé de chambre car la connexion internet ne fonctionnait pas.

La difficulté que la chambre soit dans un hôtel et les prestations tel que le check in et check out, le petit déjeuner et la piscine dans l'hôtel d'en face de l'autre côté de la rue, l'obligation de prendre un valet pour la voiture (20 dollars par jour sans les taxes)

Stanza pulita e buona posizione sia per la spiaggia di Waikiki che per i mezzi diretti alla spiagge piu' belle. L'hotel dispone di pc per l'utilizzo di internet e fornisce asciugamani per la spiaggia.

La colazione e' molto ridotta.

友人の結婚式出席を兼ねた１人旅で、宿泊費を抑えたかったので選びました。立地はバス停も近く、Abcスト- アやパントリーも側にあり、女性１人で夜歩い- ても特に怖いとかもなく、非常に便利でした。シャワーが壁固定ではなく（ホース付）、水圧や温度も問題無か- ったのが良かったです。ドライヤーも使いやす- く、風量もちゃんと強かったです。電話も、ローカルの番号へは無料で、現地に住む友人の携帯電話にかけても- 無料でした。１階のエレベーター横に無料のウ- ォーターサーバーがあって、夜中にのどが渇いた時に便利でした（これは、アクア・アロハ・サーフのサービス- でした）。あと、朝食無しプランだったのに、- チェックイン時に毎朝分の朝食券を頂きました。あと、pcも無料で使用できました。ただやはり、すぐ目の前- とはいえ、フロントやサービスがすべて通りを- 挟んだサンド・ヴィラホテルに行かなければいけない点が、少し面倒でした。それ以外は、本当に満足なホテル- でした。シャトルバスやタクシーのPick up/downをする場合は、もし荷物が多ければ、ホテル名をアクア・アロハ・サーフで運転手に伝えて、ス- ーツケースはそちらのロビーに置いておき、貴- 重品だけ持ってサンドヴィラホテルのフロントへ行けば良いと思います。

アラワイ運河の越しに見える夜景は、きれいでした。ホテルの設備も充分でした。もともとバスタブには入らな- いので　何も不便さは感じませんでした。またパーキングも安いところが近くにあって、車で動く方にはおすすめです。-

実際行ったら、ホテルの名前も変わっていて　Aqua Aloha Surf And Spa　と書いてありました。チェックインは真向いのワイキキサンドヴィラでします。朝食もこちらのサンドヴィラに- なります。ちょっとややこしい。

Buen precio, ubicación, tranquilo. Además incluia desayuno aunque era poco y siempre lo mismo.

Me ha gustado sobre todo la excelente ubicación, en pleno centro de Waikiki y cerca de todos los lugares de interés.

just a few steps from Kuhio Ave (restaurants, shops, bars, nightlife), friendly and helpful reception, free internet in the room (LAN), good value for money;

The location was good, short easy walk to the beach and surrounding shops and restaurants. The room was great value for money!

Although I booked at the Aloha Surf, the reception pointed me across the street to the Waikiki Sand Villa, which was fine. It was a nice basic hotel room and the staff was helpful when I ran into a health issue. The restuarant downstairs is also really good and cheap!! Half the price of all the other Waikiki restaurants! It's not busy either, so go there

Would have have rather checked into the hotel that I thought booking.com reserved me in... But it all ended out fine at the Waikiki Sand Villa. I just would have rather they told me it was going to be the Waikiki Sand Villa first and not had the confusion.
