This location is close to lot's of restaurants, shopping and is in a safe area. There are a lot of options to catch the Muni.
They don't have an ice machine; being right on Lombard it's a bit noisy.
Price was good, and room was very large. Location was ok.
Room has not been updated in many years. Wi-fi is extremely poor. Hotel is located on a very busy street and is noisy at night. Windows were cracked and taped over.
Close to restaurants and shopping.
Not enough pillows. And pillows too flat.
Old and out dated Pool closed Hole patches and separation Stained Furniture Smelled moldy
My room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. The small refrigerator and micro-wave were a nice touch.
There were several uncovered and non- functioning outlets, and the water temp. in the shower could not be adjusted-TOO HOT!! The alarm clock didn't work, and the TV remote worked only part-time.
This place should be condemned! I kid you not. Holes in doors and walls carpet was dirty, bedding was worn and faded. The only closet is in bathroom and the bathroom smelled of urine. Just a drizzle of water in shower.. and dead bugs along the wall.. Just GROSS
The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom had ample space for toiletries and room to get dressed. There was a comfortable table with two chairs. It was all what I needed. Despite backing onto the side street, it was quiet enough for a good rest. The owners were charming and helpful when the TV did not work, and I liked their kindness and consideration. I have to return to San Francisco next month and will stay there again. It's not fancy but provides just what I need.
The tub is a whirlpool bath making the sides quite high and rather difficult to enter and leave. Not a problem for the nimble but maybe for someone less agile.
safe parking for my '65 Mustang convenient to MUNI comfy beds pleasant, helpful staff
a few items needed repairs
Swimming pool was closed down forever Staff was pretty rude
Locality close to piers
The rooms were fairly average, no a conditioning on three days in the 90s and the corridors on the fourth floor were smelly
The room smelt mouldy and damp, the bath towels were tiny, threadbare and had holes in them. When you flicked the switch to change from bath tap to shower, the bath tap continued full pelt and a trickle came out of the shower head. The tap unit on the sink wasn't securely attached. The bed sheets and 3 chairs had cigarette burns all over them. The heated swimming pool was filthy and did not open for the entire duration of our stay
The desk clerk was rude.
Bad customer service. The clock doesn't work. Told the desk, he wouldn't bring another one. Very heavy noises from above.
View from the window was very nice.
Room was dirty with very poor lighting. No elevator. Very few parking spaces. Massive spiders in the room. No fridge or micro wave.
Room is big and clean though the bathroom needs redoing
The Staffa lady was not very guest friendly and very rude. She refused to help us as guest and never offered any alternatives. Had to find another hotel for another night since due to her unfriendliness we could not stay there anymore.
Location is great. Id close to golden gate....
Rooms were smelly.
the price was right good location
bed was bad bad pillows bad no smoke decetor in room lots of little unfinished things
It was in a decent spot, and the room was large.
There was a dangerously broken power socket, TV wall bracket was unstable, shower pressure was weak, and price per night seemed very high for the overall room standard.
We liked that it was really close to the Golden Gate Bridge and that there was a great market and places to eat within walking distance.
The bed was really uncomfortable and had bed bugs. The facilities were dated and not very clean. Room was very small. Pool was closed for maintenance for our entire stay. Price was way too expensive for the quality of the hotel.
Liked the perfect Location for public transportation, tour pick ups, pharmacy across the street, restaurants...
Hotel was not neatly cleaned, office staff does not go above and beyond with customer services. If you are on a budget and are a bit germaphobic, travel like me, with an old set of sheets, pillow cases, and towels; also shower sandals. At end of trip leave them behind and make room for souvenirs and new purchases.
friendly young indian man. Housekeeping very prompt at meeting our needs
the tiny reception area, nowhere to sit, in between waiting for transport etc Room 221, the bathroom window was awful, needed a wooden venetian to cover the window, would make a huge difference pool closed, a few outdoor chairs would help, and maybe a few potted plants here and there would make it look much more appealing.
close walking distance to gas stations, Walgreens and a lot of great restaurants convenient to most attractions allowed us to check in early and drop off luggage after a long trip
no elevator 4th floor and no elevator tight parking spots pool was closed
Dirty, old microwave. Too expensive for this facility and accomodation
old furniture, smell....
