Promixity to the lake. Offer to change room without a fuss. Room 116 was a joke. Shower was rubbish and leaked. No net curtains so you had to keep curtains closed all the time to stop people looking in. Like living in a tomb.

The spa tub in the room was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Fridge and microwave in room was nice too. The sheets had some stains the smelt clean but because of the stains they did not look clean.

The spa tub was great the jets were strong. Good refrigerator and microwave. The location is great. The place was ran down. There were holes in the wall. The door security chain was insecurely attached. They were doing noisey repairs at 8:30pm on the upstairs unit. I could have stayed at mont bleu for the same price. The rooms at mont bleu are very comfortable, I chose this place because of the jet tub. There was long strands of hair in and around the tub, I cleaned this myself. I would definitely not go back even for free.

Close to Harveys and Harrahs. Pillows. Coffee. Noise on Second floor when people walk by your room. No Flat screen TV.

We arrived at noon and our room was ready for us. The linen was updated from the pictures I found online, the updated linens gave the room a much more luxurious feel. The spa tub was big enough for 2 larger people, and the jets were very good. I would recommend this hotel and we will probably book it again if we're in Tahoe again. I loved that it was right there next to Harvey'S. One of our friends came back to our room and he was jealous that it had the spa tub and the nicer linens. If I were the owners I would update the pictures if possible. As for the "Didn't like" every thing I mention, in my opinion is very minor, just little things that I could see other people complaining about. The spa tub was nice but some of the tile work around it needed some caulking to make it look more pleasing to the eye. Not a big deal for me, but I could see people complaining. We stayed in room 102, and the door to the bathroom opens into the room. In the room there is a table with a mirror over it right next to the bathroom. I was sitting in the chair using this mirror to put on make up while my husband was getting dressed (we had a wedding to attend) because the room is small and the set up is tight he kept having to have me move. Inconvenient, but there's not much they could do to fix it. If you like big rooms this hotel doesn't offer that. Oh and the pull chain for the light above the fan didn't work we wanted the fan on but the light off but the chain didn't work. Also 2 of the lights on the fan were empty (maybe someone stole them I don't know) but it was better with just the 2 lights as 4 would have been way too bright, unless lower watt light bulbs were used. Maybe they're kept out to lower the electric bill. I don't know, it wasn't a big deal to me and I didn't even notice until my husband went to pull the chain to turn the light off. The room does have a wall switch for the lights.

The closeness to the casinos. The walls were a little thin and my fiancé and I could hear everything going on in the room next to us and could hear people walking to their rooms all night.

Price was very competitive. Room was clean and fairly updated. Very close to Stateline and Heavenly Gondola. Construction a few rooms away starting at 8:00 am, constant pounding for hours. Would have been nice to know before booking.

Clean rooms, quiet little place, comfy beds, great customer service. I left a bag in the room which was promptly held for me until I could retrieve it and all my belongings were kept safe. Perfect location right in downtown South Lake too! Walking distance to casinos and Heavenly mountain No bar, restaurant or casino actually in the hotel but because everything is so close it did not matter

Good price and location. Clean and has a hot tub. The hot tub was kinda old and short, worked for about 4 people. Also my hair dryer didn't work, not usually a problem but it was freezing out.

I Liked the location, close to Harrah's and Harvey's along with 2mi from Heavenly. The Heater broke the last night there. Called the front desk no one answered. There were multiple party's going on and they were very rude and loud. Called the front desk... No one answered. When 1am rolled around and had asked them for the 3rd time to please be quiet. Turns out the one having the party was a worker that lived at the facility. When leaving I asked for somewhat of a discount due to freezing our butt's off all night and was told no without even an apology. My family and I paid for two room. Now, I will spend my money else where. I Won't return.

I liked the proximity to Harveys and Harrahs, Heavenly ski lift, and the great value. Really appreciated the free internet. The rooms are a bit small, and the internet wasn't fast enough for skype chat.

The room was clean and the heater worked great. The king sized bed was very comfortable, and I did not find the noise from other guests to be as loud as other reviewers have made it out to be! Room 204 was nice!

The staff is very friendly and willing to help out in any way possible. It is in walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola and sits off the main road so the overall mood is quite mellow. The hot tub is great and there is plenty of parking. It is about an hour to North Star and Kirkwood ski resorts if you feel like journeying to other resorts. The casinos are a stones throw away and you are close to a very nice shopping center. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is hot, and the heater in the room is very quick at warming things up. The walls / ceilings are somewhat thin so you will occasionally hear footsteps if you are on the lower level as well as your neighbors talking (if they have loud kids).

The owners were very friendly and accomodating. We really appreciated the cleanliness, gorgeous lawn and flowers, and beautiful pool and spa. Our room had an indoor tub/jacuzzi which was great to soak in, especially if you have back or joint problems! Alpine Inn is a great place for anyone on a budget, and very close to the lake, casinos, and shops. I wish the pool had been heated, so my little grandson could have gone for a swim.

Great location. I loved the fact that the room had a jacuzzi. Good price. I paid 70$ for king bed with jacuzzi. I usually get the king bed for 50$ a night. Great price right?! What I don't like is that the shower is in the jacuzzi. Little weird. It's weird to fill up the tub too. Hard to explain unless you witnessed it.
