the beds had slopes in the middle of them both, the tv remote didn't work & half the channels was fuzzy, smoke detector was hanging off the wall with NO batteries, the toilet was NOT CLEAN, around the bottom, shower did NOT work. I WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN
The staff was friendly & the room was nice.
Good location and friendly staff
Room was in need of some TLC. It is old and in need of repairs. Wall paper peeling, commode loose and several other things that you don't expect for the price.
The place was so disgusting! Bugs of all sorts everyone, the mini fridge had old food and filth all inside and out. The door to our room had clearly been previously busted into and never fixed. The bedding and smell was so repulsive we had to sleep on top of the beach towels we carried with us.
The lady behind the counter was not too friendly. The shower was complicated to operate. The TV remote was a problem.
The fact that the room had not been cleaned in what looked to be days. We had red stains on our sheets, very dirty carpet! A whole in the bath tub which had a glob of plaster just shoved on it a love cock roach in the bathroom & stains on the walls, doors, etc.
I figured that when a room costs $130 that it would be nice. Well, I was wrong! The wallpaper was coming off, the bathroom ceiling had a terrible patchwork job that was done and wasn't painted to match. I observed the front desk clerk ad the maintenance worker arguing in front of myself, the people we were traveling with and other guests, which I found very unprofessional. When we complained to the desk clerk she have excuses about the original maintenance person quitting and being short staffed ad gave us the owners phone number. I will never stay at this place again!
The pool was about all that I can say I liked, could have been a little cleaner though.
TV did not work, walls were nasty, floors and sheets were nasty, bathroom floor looked like it had never been cleaned. Price was way too high for this hotel!
Staff was exceptional. Offered help carrying luggage and cooler to our room on the second floor. Any questions we asked regarding places to go or eat we were offered coupons and directions!
Being put on the second floor when there was only one or 2 other guest there. With 2 month reservation and no other guests, having 4 children ages 1-11 should have given us that advantage.
room stunk, dirty, didnt make beds or bring dry towels. When I complained to the woman at the desk she said she didnt know why the room hadnt been cleaned and would have been happy to leave it at that.
Staff very nice.
Mold in shower knob Shower curtain rod loose on wall. Mold on shower curtain. Dry wall had been patched, but not painted. Refrigerator leg missing wobbled and brackets mounted on top of it not holding anything.
Compared to other properties in town, the price was best. Also, it was dog-friendly.
There was a coffee maker, no coffee and no cups. Room was pretty basic, but adequate.
I FOUND A TICK ON MY FACE TOWELL!
They were very accomadating. Beds were clean
Overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired Cost was a little high for the condition of the rooms
Roach dead in the floor of the bathroom, room stunk, fridge didn't close all the way and rocked, it was so gross but we had no choice
Old unkept rooms, linenand towels look dirty, motel in bad condition.pool cloudy would not swim in pool.cut trip short told I would receive refund only received a small amount of refund. But would have left without refund. All other guest were complaining.Afraid to book with booking .com again , due to the conditions of this motel.
It was the filthiest place I have ever stayed!!!
Aw to get reservation on holiday weekend.
Mattress needs replacing. Could use facelift.
Nothing. I paid 140.00 for something worth 30.00. Didn't know what I was getting up. Go elsewhere.
it was very cheap
our room was in bad need of rehab. The bathroom leaked and the wall paper was peeling and mold growing. We didnt change rooms b/c none to change to...We just dealt with it because of the very small amount we paid for the room.
They charged more for the second night than Booking. Com did. It was really dirty and old.
Dead roaches, had to change rooms when we first got there because the sheets were dirty on the bed. Opened refrigerator and nats flew out. About an inch of dust on the TV. Couldn't pick up channels very well. Just a horrible experience. Wouldn't have even stayed if the entire town of helen wasn't totally booked.
Paid for 2 nights, after 1st night got a call saying the lady charged me for 2 week nights instead of one week night & one weekend night.. therefore I had to pay almost $40 more. Woulda went to a nicer place if I had known the price was gonna be that much.
Value, clean. Friendly staff/owners!
Hair dryer had been pulled out of the wall. Commode needed to be bolted down. Bathroom tissue holder falling out. Tub drain would not drain without holding drain lever. Coffee maker, coffee, cream and sugar packets, but no cups.
