The place is a mess. The doors had not security lock other than knob. Lights were out, a/c was not plugged in when I got there, the tv remote was missing back cover and only 1 channel came on, the bath had a broken towel bar, no shampoo and the sink was leaking. The paint was from the 70's I assume and think the carpet may have been too.
It isn't a big chain hotel. The location and staff are great. It doesn't have all the amenities as other hotels but you're in southern California don't sit in the room, go for a walk.
I think they need to remodel the rooms.
The bed was good.
Overrall cleanliness needs to improve. Mold in the shower was definitely gross.
Staff, location, room size.
Everything about the hotel, there was hair on my sheets holes in the wall and Ants in the shower
Location, was close to the places I was visiting
I didn't like that it smelled really bad. Also there was a big hole in the wall and the carpet was disgusting. But I only needed the place for a couple hours to sleep and get right back out and have fun.
I liked that it was in walking distance to see most everything we came to vacation for such as the whisky a go go. Also for the mind of place it was I actually got to take a decent shower. Most hotels have no hot water or pressure but this sufficed.
Rude staff, requested a non smoking room. Had to wait an hour just to checK. Once i check in the only room avaavailable is a smoking room. The room was dirty.
Walking distance to weho
The old outdated facilities.
Close to the clubbing area of West Hollywood, California
The bed sheets were stained. Who ever the cleaners are need their jobs to be re- evaluated. There were shoes, two different ones, meaning not a pair, under the beds. Which means it was from two different stays. And that makes me feel like the bed sheets probably didn't get washed before our stay either. I know the calculated stars say 2.5 but I'd give it 0 out of 6. Don't waste your money.
Poor representation in photo's, thought rooms would have some character, just really basic with below average facilities at high price. Very long walk from hollywood and staff did not help with any directions.
The bed was ok, but was missing a leg
The hotel rooms were terribly maintained. They did get cleaned & changed everyday but there's not much they can do when the actual walls have holes in them. There was black mould on the shower walls and ceiling. There is a tv & towels provided but that is all no: hair dryer, shampoo or conditioner, telephone, any sort of cooling or heating. Also there is no maps or tours or anything available for tourists, when I asked if they had a map of the local area they seemed surprised by the question.
Good location in west Hollywood, close to shops (Beverly centre & Melrose ave about a 15 - 20 min walk and a pharmacy/convenience store across the road) & public transport, in a clean, safe neighbourhood. Wifi included in the room.
WiFi was slow, street is noisy all night, no fridge or microwave. But hey it is 1 star and there are plenty of eateries in the area.
The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to Santa Monica Blvd, Melrose Ave, Sunset. The staff (a family) is present but not intrusive.
not enough receptacles , poorly placed for guest use and the ones that were are loose plugged in items just fell out, and missing plates dingy room cheap poly bedspread \curtains don't close properly are dirty and not hung correcly , monstrous old tv remote doesnt work, noisy, iffy clientele, bad cheap lighting , loud heater air conditoner combo, not enough towels. no shampoo and the one tiny hotel soap that they left in room was already opened ewwwwww wifi is spotty and slow as molasses I think the Indian owners turn off the wifi in the morning to make the guests leave faster, the owners need to invest a little bit to make this hotel come to life but alas I dont think they have the vision
Location is fantasic food entertainment , and for any of your needs a CVS is right across the street free parking in WEHO AMAZING cheap rates for the area
If you are willing to walk for an hour to get to Hollywood boulevard and to play tourist, then it's worth staying here to save money. The actual rooms aren't that nice but okay if you ain't picky. The beds are comfortable though. I wouldn't take a shower there.
Just basic but good for the money !
Has some history, cheap, clean, excellent location, good WiFi !
Stayed there 14 years ago and it could do with new carpet and bed covers but sheets and towels very clean.
Location, history and very reasonably priced, not flash just great to stay for a few days especially if you want to party on The Strip.
Traffic noise and other guests kept me awake ALL night! Walls must be paper thin, or else my neighbors were just really loud. I got no sleep when I stayed here. I've slept better in my car.
It's close to the Sunset Strip, and it's pretty cool that Jim Morrison stayed there for awhile.
Small shower, and devices fall out of plugs in the walls.
Price, and location.
Bed too soft Old - Rooms could use some updating
No fridge and No Iron.
Great location. It's not the Ritz but if you're on a budget then it's perfect. Has everything you need.
Total dump. The worst motels I've ever stayed at. Expensive, noisy, dirty floor, uncomfortable bed, cold shower water, and bad service, rude behavior. Even half an hour I together with my husband waited for in the cold night as nobody check in and locked the door. Additionally, 8 USD per day for parking.
The room needed many updates. It was old and their was mold on the ceiling in the shower. The bathroom window would not close so I did not feel safe. I would not stay here again even though the price was good.
