The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and after an eight hour drive, was very nice to relax in.

The breakfast and the sitting area in the lobby. I didn't like the fact that when I arrived at the hotel I was asked to pre-pay for the rooms I booked months ago right there on the spot. In most cases your credit card is charged upon check out, not when you approach the counter to check in. Not good comfort inn Alton. Also the pool needs to be shocked more often in summer months when lots of people use it. I didn't swim because the water looked dirty with a yellowish green tint. However the house keepers excellent very helpful. Work on the behind the counter staff.

The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed the free breakfast very much. Nothing, everything was perfect.
