Amalfi Hotel Chicago  

isohko ja mukava huone, iso kylpyhuone (suihkun vedenpaine kohdillaan!), mukava henkilökunta, aamupala oli hyvin järjestetty (haettiin hissiaulasta omiin huoneisiin) ja tarpeeksi kattava. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, mag milelle ja loopiin lyhyet kävelymatkat ja katu ei ollut vilkkaimmasta päästä hotellin edessä. Joka arkiaamu oli sanomalehti odottmassa ovenkahvassa. Suosittelen tätä hotellia myös hinta/laatu -suhteessa!

aamupalalla olisi voinut olla juustoa, kinkkua tai edes kurkkua bagelin väliin, mutta ei oikeastaan mitään muuta negatiivissävytteistä tule mieleen

Mostly the location to where we wanted to spend most of our time. It was extremely clean, the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The continental breakfast was superb. Would stay there again.

Wish it had a pool and/or hot tub.

I liked the breakfast buffet set up on each floor by the elevators. I prefer dining in my room, so that was preferable to dining in a common area. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety, including healthy options with fruit and whole grains. We didn't take advantage of happy hour, but that was a nice offering. It's unusual for a Chicago hotel to be roomy enough to accommodate two queen beds. The room was roomy and the beds very comfortable. The temperature control was good and quiet.

Staff was great I got lost and they talked me through directions over the phone - very helpful!

I didn't expect to pay so much for parking but compared to the garage fees the valet was definitely the better option

The Amalfi provided an excellent hotel stay. I enjoyed the happy hour and the complimentary continental breakfast. Excellent room accommodations and great location. I would stay here again.

Location is great, within easy reach to almost anywhere. Beds and pillows are excellent. We liked the complimentary breakfast, it was very practical. The staff was always very helpful and polite.

It was an excellent stay - friendly staff, beautiful facility, wonderful complimentary services. The breakfast on every floor was exceptional. The nightly cocktail reception made the evenings a real pleasure. Would recommend to anyone!

I liked the contemporary, yet simply eclectic design of the hotel. I was surprising my boyfriend for his birthday; the tables in the main room reminded me of chess pawns, which he's a big chess player. There were several hotels in the vicinity that had some good deals, but the photographs on website didn't hit home with me. I travel a lot and encounter several hotels a month. I am (rightfully so) super cautious around rooms that don't appear as 'clean' as they should be. I was particularly impressed with how immaculate the bathroom was- plus, Aveda products for toiletries made us very happy; being folks that usually bring our own organic products. Many thanks for being one of the best hotel stays I can honestly say I've stayed at!

It was okay

I received a room with views of an alley and the side of a brick building. Parking was inconvienent and expensive

location is really good and staff is friendly. roon is quiet and clean.

Location,gave us a early check in and stored our luggage for 5 hours after we checked out staff was friendly in a chicago kind of way.did not utilize free happy hour but looked nice.in room i-phone charger/clock radio.nice selections at continental breakfast station,other than cook to order had everything.comp usa today newspaper at door.first stay at a chicago hotel so dont know how to compare to others,but other than T.V. no real complaints had a nice stay.taxis are plentiful and knowledgeable though you will see them break some traffic laws.

Size of room,tv and remote not good,views are horrible. I dont think anything is cheap in chicago compared to indy.
