Reception staff was not very welcoming (and there really isn't a lobby) but the doormen were great. The hotel has been renovated but not completely somehow - may room door was not painted. A bit of a mixed bag and a bit expensive for what it is, namely more of a three star hotel
Location in a hip area with nice restaurants and bars and not far from the major attractions of downtown. Self-serve breakfast by the elevators was a bit unusual but decent and convenient
Rear and side views from the 4th floor not great. No late night lounge option to have a byob drink with friends and family.
Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Fantastic location.
Breakfast ended too early
Staff was great, very helpful. Small, but comfortably room.
Air conditioning was a Little noisy
Helpful and friendly stuff, nice room with good beds
We are on the third floor, facing another building's window. Other than this, nothing to compaint.
Free breakfast, though simple and basic. The decoration, the size of the room, the modern feel of the hotel. Particularly, the location. Extremly easy to travel to the loop area and the magnificent mile.
Too many pillows Too many small pillows on the bed makes me feel like I am suffocating. Other than that, rooms are nicely designed and comfortable. Do have a problem using my cell phone in the hotel.
the breakfast is a very appealing feature. I eat yogurt every morning, Please offer plain yogurt, Your fruited varieties are overly sweet and I find them quite sickening and I miss the bread for toasting as I do not care for breakfast pastries.
I had been given a handicap room so the shower was open and the floor kept soaking-it was pain!
I liked the location, close to everything I needed. The drinks and breakfast were a bonus.
I rely a lot on wifi at a hotel. The wifi was inconsistent.
Need flavored coffee creamers for breakfast coffee and in rooms.
The staff was accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed the Managers reception after a long day at a conference and it was wonderfully put together. Rooms were very clean and decorated very sheek and modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here next time we are in Chicago!
Had room 1 floor above street level--very noisy street at night with drunken bar patrons till 2-3 AM but not the hotel's fault. Unfortunately we were not put on a higher floor.
Great location for seeing downtown Chicago sites
Everything was great and made our vacation experience very easy
The staff was very helpful in making our stay with our young son easy and enjoyable.
Loved it all.
All was great.
The staff was very friendly but professional as well. They were there to assist if needed. The hotel is was very beautiful and in a great location.
Staff is great, breakfast system is very good. Confortable rooms ...everything was great.
the lobby is not big
very good location. comfort bed. nice staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff Very nice breakfast idea to have a basic yet sufficient open buffet in every floor and conveniently take to your room Proximity to the main city attractions
Breakfast was awesome, bell staff were vey polite, Work out facilty was nice
The only annoying (strange) detail is- the only option to cover windows is completely opaque plastic roll blinds. So you either have complete darkness and have to use lamps in daytime, or the windows are completely open, and look right out into the corner windows of adjacent hotel rooms and office windows across the street. Basically- you can't have privacy with daylight. Some light curtains would go a long way.
Staff was very welcoming. Excellent central location. Modern design, fairly fresh renovation.
Breakfast was served from the lobby and was very limited
Location was excellent, hotel very comfortable
Overnight parking rate is high, but room rate is good.
Staff is excellent. Location is very good: restaurants, access to freeways, walking distance to many things to do.
everithing beyond our expectations.
I had to circle around four times because there was no spots in front for check in only.
How happy and polite all the employees were.
We loved the breakfast set up on our floor. It is so nice to have the continental breakfast set up on each floor. We could get coffee and breakfast as we got ready for our busy day. Also, enjoyed the cocktail hour at the end of the day.
