The info pack says a delayed check-out can be arranged by contacting "experience designer". I have never reached him/her - the line was always busy.

All the staff is very friendly and a special bonus for the free aperitif and the appetizers too. The facilities are OK.

I really liked the drink passes for happy hour and literally every time we walked in the door someone on staff spoke to us. The front desk was quite helpful as well.

There was a $50 fee per night as almost an insurance policy that I had no idea about. The money is given back, but I think it should be said before the money is taken.

Poor breakfast, served on each floor, very minimal, no options.

The staff was wonderful, polite, accomodating. The bed was comfortable. Aveda products were nice.

The bathroom was dated. So was decore. The parking fee is outrages.

Coffee at the continental breakfast tended to be cold. Lighting in the room, particularly next to the bed, was too dim to make reading easy.

Beds and pillows were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable..

Fabulous hotel not far from the main shopping drag and tourist spots. Free cocktails and canapés we're superb. Breakfast was conveniently served on each floor and was good quality.

Nice staff. Very friendly The location is great, you are near the a lot of great night spots and just a bit of walking to shopping.

Rooms were not "4 star" quality. At best it is a nice "3 star". Our bathroom had parts loose and you can see some mold and dust from the pipes and on the walls. They "upgraded" us to a corner room. Basically they put a door at the end of their hallway, when you open the door it is just more hallway with an opening to the room.

The decor is aging a little and whilst it was clean the room is a little tatty and could do with a makeover but was liveable .not sure whether i would classify this as a true fours star hotel .

The Amalfi s one of the best city hotels I've stayed in. The staff are really helpful and friendly and my daughter and I will be recommending it to our friends.

Bagels were in short supply at breakfast, you had to be up early to get one!

Clean,very nice hotel, we did appreciate the complimentary drinks in the evening after a day walking. Good location.

The only thing missing is a pool.

The ease of check in/out, the hotel had plenty of towels in the bathroom, no need to phone for more. Very clean hotel. Provided nice breakfast.

Bed was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast and cocktail hour was such a bonus! Very nicely done. The exercise facility is nice. My teen daughter was food poisoned by a Chicago restaurant, and the staff were sympathetic, helpful, and kind. The room was comfortable.

No room service to speak of (they order from restaurant-- not the food poisoning one), and it'd be nice to have 2 sinks in the bathroom of a double room. But, very minor things compared to all the good ones.

The room size and the luxurious features. I also liked the various options such as the spa, order-in, and the honor bar.

The vent by the bathroom that woke me up, and kept making noises throughout the night.

Continetal breakfeast did not have a great selection and the food went fast.

The hotel was convienently located near the magical mile, but the price was very affordable. The rooms were clean and the morning breakfast was simple and jit the spot for someone on the run in the morning. I would stay there again on business and vacation trips to chicago
