Great location. Helpful staff. The whole hotel smelled wonderful! Wish I knew what they used...

I am happy to say that the only thing I could find wrong was that the coffee at the continental breakfast was never hot enough for me, but then again I like it scalding hot...

The location and the Rate. I had a leak from an upstairs room and the front desk made a room change with no questions asked. They took care of the customer without hassle. Thank you.

Flooded my bathroom at 6am and it took one hour to come up with solution during a shift change. Although, when the shift came in the problem was solved quickly.

I was happy about the hotel's location. Since I was preparing for a marathon,I needed to stay fit so the 24 hour gym also helped. I appreciated the breakfast for having healthy selections. The staff were also friendly without being intrusive.

I really liked the service and the attitude to tourists. Guys at the front desk are very supportive and responsive

The staff members were great. Price was extremely reasonable. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We thought the continental breakfast was just enough, convent, and the staff kept it stocked sufficiently. Happy hour was an added bonus. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

Maybe there could have been a larger lounge area.

This was more hotel than I thought I was paying for. I booked last-minute and reserved this hotel primarily due to a lower price for the location. I was surprised. From the moment I walked into the lobby and then into my room, I really liked the decor and ambiance of the hotel. There was a nice (complimentary) continental breakfast each morning right by the elevators on each floor which made it super convenient for grabbing a coffee and bagel to go. The hotel offers a complimentary happy hour each evening for patrons as well. The only 'bad' thing that happened was that the restaurant that provides room service to the hotel (Harry Carry, I believe) did not deliver my food until almost two hours after I ordered it. The hotel staff were amazing in tracking down my order and following up with the restaurant and me until my order arrived. Then they comped it and even sent me a little bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Again, it was the restaurant's fault, not the hotel's. And, btw, Harry Carry has a really nice menu for ordering, and I'm sure that my issue was a rare glitch. I would definitely stay here again. The service was wonderful.

The front desk staff (especially Chase) were so friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend that the hotel staff become educated about people with phobias. I do not go on elevators and I had to teach myself about stairwell a and B. Why so important? Stairwell b goes to alley. Not safe. Stairwell a goes safely into a main entrance where there is a security guard. Stairs not locked coming down, however going up onto floors all are locked. With this in mind staff was very sweet.The girl who checked us in was adorable, sweet and very informative. She mentioned a coffee shop and it was excellent! We went twice.They did check us in early awesome! Food and drinks are free on 6th floor from 5:30-7:00. That is a nice touch.

Parking expensive 47.00 per night. However, it is Chicago. Only a few hotels offer free parking

Great location walking distance to all main city attractions & shopping area. Calling all men, excellent novel breakfast arrangement, buffet selection available on every floor, so breakfast in bed for you, provided you bring your girlfriend/wife to run back & forth along the corridor, to bring coffee, juice & continental plates galore! Fabulous idea of free cocktails & hors d'oeuvres every eve as an added bonus to end a day of sightseeing or business meetings or being a night out. Thoroughly recommend the Amalfi.
