Right downtown, next to the casino, perfect sized for a solo traveler, bar/restaurant in lobby that had great priced beers and some very delicious food. Staff was very friendly and helped me get where I was going. I will be going back to stay there again in 2 weeks. Very enjoyable for the price! I read many reviews on this hotel BEFORE booking on booking.com. Despite all the negative reviews I gave them a chance bc of the price. I was more than completely satisfied and found that most of the negative reviews were just flat out false and petty. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and am actually planning another trip in 2 weeks.

Small room with really no window view other than an alley and next door building leaving zero natural light. Continental breakfast was not up to typical standards.

Love the "antique", "old-world" feel of the place! The ceiling fan in the room a huge plus! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional! Was accommodated with a late check out which helped with our travel plans! No comment.

Really clean interior & the beds were comfortable. Short walking distance to french quarter & even shorter to canal st for groceries/souveniers. 10 min walk to Rouses store, where u will find the best breakfast choice around. There are also several bars next door. Garden district is a walkable 15mins away. Ww2 museum is also close. Really cool feel inside the hotel due to its laberinth design & we felt really safe. They also provided a shuttle bus to/from jazzfest for $18return trip, which I highly recommend as getting a cab from jazzfest would have taken hours. Free no map at concierge desk. Dangerously slippery wooden floor, we acrually fell over several times. Needed to take tram to igors checkpoint charlies (which was a very memorable & one of a kind experience in itself) in order to do our laundry because the ambassador has no facilities. Worst breakfast included in the package I have ever seen (u get a choice of bread&butter or cerial. Thats it).

Great location and easy to access to the French Quarter and enjoy the busy city life. I think the breakfast should be better for the amount of money I've spent.

Nothing The attitude of the staff, not very friendly nor polite. One of the manager stepped into the elevator in front of me and I had been waiting for the elevator first! How rude was she?! The tub in my room was clogged and not super clean. The light on the bedside table was not working. The room was super noisy (noise coming from the outside). The 2 previous days, I stayed at another hotel a few blocks away. I could recommend that one to anybody, but I would not recommend your establishment. I was very disappointed for the quality for the price I paid. Don't even let me get started on the breakfast....

The beds were uncomfortable. The room need remodeling. There was no window at all in my room. A door (mostly window)faces the hallway (which was brightly lit) and has mini blinds over the window portion. One could see inside the room from the outside. Also, there was no deadbolt lock.

Good location for seeing the French Quarter. Walking distance from a lot of great areas. The floors are so clean they were slippery in our room. Other than that great.

Location, the exposed brick walls throughout the hotel, front desk staff was friendly The bar/restaurant opened really late like 3 or 5pm. There was no proper common space except for two chairs (which were directly in front of the concierge) as opposed to most hotels that have seating areas often throughout. It seemed a bit run down, for example our beds were noisy and headboards loose, bathroom walls looked to be patched and not properly repainted. The lamp was flickering on/off and shade was ratty and falling apart. Public restroom was dumpy and not very clean. I think we could have gotten more of everything for our money elsewhere. It really wasn't what I expected. I stay in hotels often enough to know there is much better value elsewhere.

The staff were so helpful with all my questions and requests the front desk staff were remarkable and well informed. They made time to assist me as well as make pleasant conversation. The valet service was very polite and efficient. The overall efforts were superb. There were elements distinguished by the design of the hotel that were challenging with regard to noise reduction from room to room.

The location was superb. Liked the atmosphere of being in an old warehouse. staff was very friendly and accomodating to our every need. The bathrooms were cramped and lacked a working exhaust fan.
