Score from 271 reviews Very good
Just 2 blocks from New Orleans’s well-known French Quarter, this hotel features restored 19th-century buildings. It has a hot buffet breakfast and rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 503 reviews Excellent
Right on the river in New Orleans, this contemporary hotel offers state-of-the-art facilities and fine dining, just steps from the Riverwalk Marketplace, which features over 140 shops and restaurants....
Score from 341 reviews Very good
Close to lots of things to walk to.
Didn't have a extra blanket.
Nice high ceiling...nice bed...short walk to casino....short walk to convention center
Had to walk to far to get on elevator... Given a whole different price when I got there... Walls are thin can hear everything from next room....cheap remote to tv... No fridge or microwave in room
cheap good location
remodeling dirty missed breakfast but went down only after a hour after it started. funky smell
Everything. They are remodeling, but everything was fantastic and the staff was wonderful.
New Orleans Is a great city, the French Quarter awesome! The bars!
The hotel's are less than honest, hidden charges everywhere! From the cabbies, to the horrible restaurants. Let's just say these places hire incompetents for what should be a world destination!
Good location and great price
Lots of construction going on. Totally different than photos on website. If you are looking for a place to rest your head this hotel is great
old house location big rooms
parking 29$/night construction (08/14) cold water, because of city workers for hours..
Except as noted below, nice room. The king bed was comfortable.
4 o'clock check-in was delayed about 45 minutes because if a "linen issue." The room had no remote and the drawers were missing knobs/handles. The pull chain for the ceiling fan was broken.
Location Mothers Cafe
Nothing worth noting
Hotel was nicely decorated and in a great location
The bar/grill was closed the entire stay. I booked wanting this amenity in my hotel. The breakfast was never out when I left in the mornings. Requested a quiet room and did not get one. I had to switch rooms the 2nd night of my stay
Location and valet staff very helpful
I loved the central location. When I return to New Orleans, I'll try to stay there.
Pronouncing the name of the street was my biggest problem. There was no room service in the hotel.
Repeated customers get some type of upgrades. Also my company set up discounted rates for out of state employees to stay for meetings and calling direct to hotel the price is much higher than book it or other web sites.
We celebrated our 58th wedding there and everything was great the staff was very helpful enjoyed everthing.
It is convienent. You can park your car right accross the street, in case you have personal or business items you do not want to bring to room. You have a lounge right next door with good sandwiches. Everything is close.
My overall experience
I liked the location the price is alright but I feel that wifi should be free or an option if the guest want wifi but this place charge for wifi and breakfast even if the guest don't want the service. When booking the room the hotel fail to mention the additional charges until we got to the hotel.
The hidden fees to pay for breakfast and wifi even if you don't eat breakfast or use the wifi the guest is charged a $9.95 fee per day at check in for wifi and breakfast. The doors squeak and the wooden floors squeak too. The air condition didn't work in the room and the hotel didn't have any fans on deck to give us since the air wasn't working.
Location Price All the rooms are different
Hotel Staff is lacking in courtesy Continental breakfast is undesirable Slow Valet and Check in service
spacious room, bathroom was good.
slow check in/out, air conditioning was loud.
Too much money for no upgrades, no complimentary internet or complimentary breakfast.... It's a boutique hotel I understand but too much money for it to not be nicer
The wood floor had some type of
wax on them. They were very slippery. I almost fell several times. Someone could get seriously hurt! The blinds on the door let in a lot of light at night. The floors creak loudly. We could hear everything from the room above and everyone talking in the hallway. We didn't sleep at all! The bathroom was very outdated and needed repairs. I was very disappointed in my stay.
run run run!!! Roaches, mildew showers, and an old stench in the building
ROACHES ON THE WALLS!!!!
Loved the style and how spacious the rooms were. Staff was very helpful
No pool not that we normally would want to swim but it was raining that wouldve saved the day
Room size and decor.
Service charge should be clearly included in price.
