Lobby is under going construction.
Charged me double, and after three weeks they have still not responded to mail or phone.
The room 229 backed up to the elevator noise all night.
The shower didn't train so we had to push the water down by hand. Our window view consisted of a view of a brick wall. The carpet was stained and the place had a dingy smell. I could go on about this being a terrible experience that was highly over priced.
The staff was friendly.
The construction was loud, kept hearing bumping noises at night. I'm glad I didn't have a window, it probably would have been louder.
Very eccentric feel to the hotel space. The bed was very comfortable
The layout of the hotel was a bit of a maze
The room and the bathroom. Clean, gorgeous to look at and very comfortable
Hotel needs major improvements ... Accommodations are not at all what's deep tied on their web page.
Staff is very friendly . Location within walking distance .
Ran out of towels.. and the remodeling. . Thin walls could hear other guests in hallway
The bed was comfy
No free breakfast.
The shower detail.
The bedroom only had one large drawer for clothes etc/ While it looked like there would be several the wood was a false cover for a minibar and an electronic device (which might have been a safe)Most of the furniture occupied by minibar
people were nice , breakfast quite good fitness room nice. there was a deskto
Construction work was not notified before reservation. Room floors were under repair and my wife got sick because of dust
Staff very able to solve situations. Parking facilities and valet parking very good.
the hotel is a land mark and very beautiful. Vintage but yet modern is the hotels feeling. Overall very good!
Lobby needs upgrade, appeard old and worn.
Proximity to attractions
no lobby hotel under construction an charge for parking
clean comfortable modern New Orleans style room in great location to walk to French quarter casino Mississippi River an all site seeing spots.
Great location! Just a 15 min walk to the French Quarter.
The construction in the hotel was a pain at times.
The price was a lot cheaper than most hotels in this area. Hotel was close to all the activities.
Very nice , kind and helpful people, but The ones who received me at 5:30 am were wonderful!
Temporary lobby was a bad first impression. Needed a threshold or other barrier in the crack under our room door. Could hear outside conversations and in the adjacent room.
Staff was nice. Room was designed/decorated with a repurposed style we loved. Rainfall shower, exposed beams, really good headboard, comfy bed.
housekeeping can do a bit better job cleaning the rooms :-(((
hotel is very conveniently located...rooms are well equipped and interesting looking....
The fact they were under construction wires were hanging toward the entrance. The breakfast room was very small & wasn't prepared on time because of the contruction. They charged for parking for every day you stay there.
The location was perfect and the room was nice.
The lobby and hallway, makes you under estimate the rooms but I guess after construction it will be better.
The unique design of the room. The location was pretty cool, wasn't too far from anything. 5 minute cab ride to bourbon street. Right across from the Riverwalk and casino. I loved it.
There are a couple of things that definitely need to be changed. 1. I booked two rooms through booking.com, then I cancelled one, one week before coming without any charge. But when we arrived both of the room were in the system
Location, room is ok, bed is cosy
Lobby was in a state of repair.
Rooms were excellent with exceptionally comfortable.
