Location is close to UChicago
I didn't expect that there is no shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer in the bathroom.
It was just to sleep so the price it was fair
The neighbourhood is not so safe.
Location close to IIT, Chicago. Staff good and cooperative
carpets were filthy. beds uncomfortable, no coffee pot in room, there was no kitchen facilities in room. location was good for wear we were going. will never stay there again!!!!
The area is HORRIBLE, which is very unfortunate because it is a reasonable price for the room you get
As I pulled up I could tell that I was in the right place because the building looked like the photos on this website, but once I pulled up, I noticed a lot of things that made me and my girlfriend feel uncomfortable. 1 was the amount of garbage around the building, 2 was how beat up the facility was, it was poorly maintained. We then proceeded to the office, where I was going to check in, and the girl behind the counter asked for my name, and when she looked me up she couldn't find any information on my stay, after waiting for a bit she finally found it on a peice of paper and she told us nobody entered it in. I was a taken off by that because I'm a guest and everything should have ran smoothly. Then she Asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking and I said "non smoking please, and if I want a smoke I'll just come outside" she then told me and my girlfriend that "hey if you want to smoke weed just put a towel across the bottom of the door so no smoke comes out" and spray some perfume before you leave to cover up the sent. I thought to myself "really r u kidding me, what kind of a place did I book?" we then got our card to our room and headed there, when we got to our room it wasn't as bad and the outside portrayed it as. Really the only thing I didn't like was when I was filling out the online stuff to book the site In the comment box where it said if there is anything we can do to help make your stay better please let us know we will try to meet your requests... I had requested extra pillows in the room because I like sleeping with more than 1 pillow. However that in my eyes a simple request wasn't met. Then upon checking out when we pulled out parking lot I noticed a car watching me, as I went to the stoplight the car followed me. Then come to find out it was a unmarked cop car, as I was getting pulled over, I looked at my girlfriend and said "what did I do"?
Jusr reasonable. Public transportation is close to hotel
No hair-dryer, No light in the room
Room clean and very spacious.
It was right off the highway and close too attractions downtown and the beach...if your just visiting this is a convenient place too stay
The directions to this hotel were not clear enough
convenient to my destination
tub was too small
Horrible hood. Felt extremely unsafe. Stay away from this place.
Comfortable bed and friendly staff
the one entrance to the lot is the only exit
Huge room compared to other motels and friendlier than expected staff.
It looked like a by-the-hour establishment.
It was 3 min from ellis park
the toilet needs replaced the inside bowl was discussing I was in the big room on 2nd floor with elevater
After 6 weeks of small motel rooms we were thrilled to have a suite! This was perfect for a 5 night stay; Metro station a few minutes walk away & only 15 mins trip to downtown, brilliant restaurant, Pearls, attached to accom; friendly staff; this accom made our visit to Chicago a great one!
Needed an light in the corner near table & chairs
They were really nice and polite! The room was nice and clean.
Cheap but would've definitely spent the extra buck had I known it'd be like that
The room, staff, and cleanliness . Terrible
At night liquor store across street had crime.....my girl friend felt threatened. Neighborhood not good.
The price listed at the desk was less than what I booked the room for. The room was poorly cleaned, and did not have fully closing drapes.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I could tell they were renovating the place and we luckily got one of the more updated rooms. .still wasn't much updated as far as 2014 goes but they are trying. Cabs came quickly to pick us up and the staff supplied us with the number as well as maps and brochures.
The location did not make me feel safe at all and it was farther from downtown than I thought. But relatively close to US cellular field which was the reason for our visit. The room was just spot cleaned. . Like only looks clean at first glance. Won't be staying here again but we did survive so I give them that.
Air condition worked
Lights didn't work, found a bug in washroom, towels threadbare.
Room was spacious. Parking was free. Ac worked.
Everything else - There may or may not have been blood splatter on the ceiling. Cracks in the wall. Very iffy neighborhood for a group of Caucasian men! No ice machine on our floor (and were too scared to check around too much)
I like the location and comfort.
I think that room wasn´t clean. The staff were no polite.
My room was very clean. The bed was also comfortable which was important because I have back problems. I really loved the jacuzzi tub! The refrigerator and microwave were greatly appreciated. The room was very large and nicely furnished.
There was a hole in the wall where the bathroom doorknob rested. The commode needed to be more firmly attached to the floor. The room door was hard to open. There were no snack machines.
