Easy to find Comfortable beds Remodeled bathroom

Traffic noise!!! Smoke alarm went off early morning for no reason, then beeped for the next hour. Left air conditioner on all night @ high cool settings, never got cold enough. Curtain in the way of the air conditioner. Light coming in the window. Could not understand check in staff...strong accent!!!

Check in was easy, our room was nice and the bathroom was especially nice. The hotel is also in a nice location.

While I didn't have any problems, my parents also stayed here and we were not happy with their room. It smelled like smoke, the bathroom door stuck, and there was no microwave. Also the lack of parking was a big turn off

The noise forms the free way is very bad. The people in the office could not speak English. I had a very hard time trying to get towels. They don’t have a clue what I was talking about. I found one in the laundry room.

Due to a fire at my home I have now stayed at this motel for a few weeks. The staff is always ready to help anyway they can. The housekeeping is very nice and always replaces all items. I have stayed in 4 star hotels that do far less for Far, Far, more. Its close to all roads and shopping and dinning that you can walk to. free coffee in the small lobby and Pete's within walking and I am old. I have seen the negative review about the staff and can only say that must have arrived with a negative attitude as they could do far, worse. Also they must not have read the fact that after the first night you can cancel with no charge. But some people will never be happy.

Two words...It sucked!

The bed was comfortable. The linens were not only sparkling clean they appeared new!

I'm always suspicious of how clean the carpets are in motels. This one definately needed cleaning.

The price was right, and that's about it. There was a new mini-fridge, microwave, and tv cabinet with a new flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The state of the rest of the room was atrocious. Had the bathroom not been recently renovated and the sheets on the bed clean, we would have left and found another hotel.

Where do we begin? We expected a moderate hotel because of the price and the photos and reviews that we had read online, but this was unbelievable. The front desk attendant (a young woman) was surly and her English was hard to understand. The exterior of the hotel was dirty, with an exposed dumpster and garbage on the side of the office, and dirt and debris on the stairs. Our room was awful - there was a 1/2 inch gap between the door and it's frame, and no Do Not Disturb hanger, which felt very unsafe. There were two ragged 3" holes in the walls, dirt and stains on the walls, door, and ceiling, a bed without a skirt exposing a torn and filthy box spring, handles torn off the closet, the closet hanging bar held up with black electrical tape, uncovered electrical outlets, no alarm clock, no toilet paper holder (it was just sitting on the back of the toilet), no blowdryer, and dirty curtains and sheers with the hems torn out and repaired with rusty safety pins. We were made to pay for the entire three night stay at check-in, so we felt trapped, and since the attitude of the woman at the desk was so unpleasant we knew that it would be a problem to get our money back. When we asked for an alarm clock for our room we were told, "No." That's it - not, "we're sorry", or even "oops". There was a microwave oven with a digital clock on the front, but no alarm feature, of course. We did get a blowdryer after asking for one. There was a lot of freeway noise, but we knew the location of the hotel ahead of time and expected it, so that was not a surprise. The guests partying in the hallway outside of our room until 4:00 a.m., however, was extremely disruptive, and there seemed to be no one on duty to ask them to stop. We stopped at the front desk with questions twice during our stay - during daylight hours - and there was no response to our ringing the bell. We just gave up.

For the price, you can't beat this place in Southern Marin. Right next door is Marin Joe's, a great steak seafood house. Overall I could stay here again if i needed too.

The hotel is on the frontage road for the highway and there is plenty of vehicle noise. I used earplugs and had no problems sleeping. The motel is definitely old but has various stages of upgrades in the room.

The outside of this hotel makes the old saying 'don't judge a book by its cover' so true. Because once inside, the room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay.

Freeway noise is always there as windows are old. This is the only ABVI of three close by that dose not offer any breakfast nor any laundry on site, yet the rate is exactly the same for all of them. I did not see this until after I was booked in. next time I would try one of the other ones

Advised front desk toilet was running. No help. Had to turn off for the night. Additional door lock broken. Desk chair seat came off chair. No bathroom soap or tissues. No hot water for shower in the morning.

The closeness to SF and Muir Woods. Also, the coffee/tea machine in the office. Also, the refrig and microwave in our room.

There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign to display on the outside of our door.

My heater didn't work. The phone lines were confused. I tried to call the front desk several times but the call rang through to room #124 from room #121. I did let them know that at the desk...in person. I wanted to let them know they didn't need to clean my room but I couldn't get through. PJZ

Fairly clean. close to the highway.

Air conditioner didn't work. Room crammed and extremely worn. Overpriced.

Damage to wall and a smell of smoke

Staff was very considerate and cooperative.

The location, adjacent to a freeway, was the biggest problem. Also, the motel does show its age a bit.

I liked how close it was to the Outlets, dining, and the highway to Sausalito.

When I read about the Inn online, it said that there would be a microwave, mini-fridge, and wifi in every room. When we went into our room, there was no microwave, the unsecured wifi didn't work on my laptop, iPod, or tablet. Also, the room reaked of cigarette smoke. Neither my husband nor I smoke and our throats were hoarse by the time we left.
