Score from 165 reviews Very good
the street view from my room, friendly and helpful staff, the bed was very comfortable!
wonderful location - walking distance to many restaurants and to the convention center.
Very sloe service
Didn't like the taste of the water, smell of the room, hearing other guests talking, other people's hair in my towels, broken bathroom door knob and faucets.
Walking distance to all the fun. Close to bike trails.
Wish the room included kitchen accessories
Convenient to everything. Clean and current.
Really great location, friendly staff, adequate hotel. Great price compared to everywhere else around. Walking distance to Austin Music Hall
Location and price
Breakfast very limited.
Hairs on the bed and towels :-( Slow WiFi VERY basic breakfast
Location is great
Room had bad smell and could not get hot water.
Staff was very friendly!
Towels needed to be replaced a few years ago.
Good central location
Hallways were dirty. Breakfast was there but weak. Not worth $205. Glad that on my second day, I could stay with a friend.
Fairly nice room.
We stayed in the room 123, the showerhead in that room made those terrible noise (I still believe the whole building can hear it) when hot water got through. It drove us crazy. So we told the front desk and at night, they told us "they tried to fix it but failed to do it". So we had to get shower with that terrible noise. Another thing is, we know austin's water has that funny taste, so we tried to buy water in the machine, however, water were sold out!! So we didin't drink anything that night!!
The staff are nice, they can help with some basic things. Location, not perfect, but pretty convenient.
No hot water x 24 hrs, luke warm until last day. Mechanical failure and staff struggled with options. Room dirty especially kitchen. No utensils, not even offered.
Location and staff, although overwhelmed, tried.
long female hair all over the place
Your convenience downtown
The primary reason I gave this hotel one star is due to the lack of hot (or even warm) water. There was mold in the shower, the hallways smelled like dog urine and alcohol, and the staff was unable to accommodate any of our requests....including hot water.
Parking - it was free, it was plentiful.
Location although convenient was in an area that was kind of scary for a lone female
Staff helpfulness and cleanliness of room
you get what you pay for inside the room
Couldn't find my reservation so had to move to their sister hotel. Manager and staff at 6th street were not helpful at first.
The building is really worn out. Didn't have hot water for my shower, lukewarm at best. This is an extended stay hotel, yet there wasn't a coffee pot, not one glass, plate, silverware, pot or pan in my room. Towels were very rough....got a free exfoliation for my skin....Lots of issues.
Right in downtown Austin, and has free parking.
Tv remote did not work. The front of the refrigerator was very dirty
Almost no water pressure for my morning shower. No washcloths. No utensils or plates in kitchenette, although I only stayed one night.
location, coffee. breakfast was adequate.
