The location was awesome. The convenience was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was wonderful.

The breakfast room was much too small. My friend that I stayed with had money taken from his bag, as well as chicken from the leftovers we had in the refrigerator. When we went to check out the woman at reception was rude, inconsiderate, and extremely distracted. When we told her about the missing money she did nothing but argue and make us feel like we were lying. Based on the reaction she gave us we expected no outcome from our complaint, and that is exactly what happened. Absolutely ridiculous. Neither I, nor any of my friends will be staying there again. There are too many other hotel options for us to put up with that hostility.

I thought the whole trip was great. The rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet. We had a fridge, and microwave. The coffee pot worked, and the bathroom was very clean - We couldn't have expected more, for the price

The beds were not the most comfortable, and we had trouble using our keys to get into the breakfast area. I also thought the breakfast would be a little more than just bagels and oatmeal. (Not very continental)

The staff, the room, the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, a great shower with lots of pressure and hot water and a new shower head, recently installed new carpeting and bathroom floor

No stop light on Cerrillos Road right there, and hard to pull out onto the street

I have stayed at the Lamplighter over several years. It is central to the places I wish frequent plus it is convenient and close to my sister's home. When my mom was alive the distance to her residence was minimal. A good base of operations.

As with most things in Santa Fe anymore the Lamplighter is "pricey". I asked for a ground floor room with my daughter next door. Bad knees from Nam. Steps very difficult. Could not be accomodated. I did the steps for four days. The heating system did not work. Nine degress overnight. The desk sent a space heater which helped, but limited overall warmth. $180.00 is high for a space heater. The toilet was close to backing up. Required up to three flushes over a period of time to clear the bowl.

I liked the indoor pool/hot tub. The breakfast was good.

Not enough seating in breakfast area. Parking was limited when we arrived. Had to park a good distance from our room. The place was overall in clean condition, but could use an update.

Location was convenient. The price was reasonable and the staff was pleasant.

The blower in the room for the heat was very noisy. The room was very small and the electrical outlets were not in convenient locations. There was a lot of street noise.

Three of us attending a conference had two queen rooms. We felt that the value for the money was great. The rooms were clean, tidy, new carpet and I would say fully adequate for our needs. We stayed 3 nights. Maid service was very good. Staff Friendly. Not luxury, but very budget friendly. Kelli

The Location, the fact that I'm familiar with it as we have stayed there several times before and I used to work there as a night auditor back in the 80's.

Our room was too far from the pool/hot tub. Did not use, this time. It took awhile for staff to answer the phone at the front desk, but once they did answer they were very helpful. They have very bad coffee in the rooms and the coffee in the breakfast room is even worse. There is a coffee shop located in the parking lot but they don't open until after 9:00 AM, Who needs coffee by then?

Free continental breakfast offered many options. Pool and sauna were clean. We got a great price through booking.com.

We selected ur motel based on the picture of the swimming pool and the hot tub. Hot tub didn't work. The pool was better than ok. The room was clean. Overall the price for the room and associated ambiance was equal. The breakfast was good the service people were very cordial... I probably would look for a nicer room and ambiance for another 30 dolloars..

We appreciated the use of actual china at breakfast - there were real coffee cups and china bowls instead of syrofoam. That made for a pleasant breakfast experience and the breakfast was very nice.

We especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The courtyards with tables and chairs were also very nice. Coffee in the breakfast room was good. I was also impressed with the helpfulness of the staff as I had to call them nearly every day before our arrival and everything worked out well.

No major complaints. My partner had just had a hip replacement and was looking for a toilet seat that was higher than usual. It might be nice to have a couple of seat raisers or above toilet seats available for just such cases. The toilet in our room was low lying. Just for interest -- a friend was staying at the Lamplighter -- he used to work there in the 70's as desk clerk and then restaurant manager. He was impressed with how well the place had been kept up.

Retro vibe, old motel in great shape. Room was small, but very comfortable. Great indoor pool and nice grounds. Perfect for what we needed.

Swimming pool was a must in June and it did not disappoint

All of he front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The towels were soft. Our room and the property were clean, well maintained. This motel had character not found in the newer chain motels. The breakfst room was large with lots of space to manuver. Excellent coffe and a good breakfast.

The swimming pool was heated and quasi-indoor, which my daughter liked. Also, a nice hot tub.

Service was friendly.

Too close to the highway. Motorcycles raced by all night.
