Free breakfast if you like cold cereal and Danish. That's it.
They worked hard to clear snow. The bed, furniture (with the exception of the lamps), bathroom, etc. were adequate and in good working order. We brought our own coffee pot so we did not go to the office for their free breakfast. A refrigerator and microwave were provided.
You could hear the tv next door. The train was loud, but that's everywhere in Flagstaff. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. The internet/ tv would go down about every 15 minutes. The touch lamps were useless and would just blink on and off over and over and the room was EXTREMELY dark. The curtains would not completely close. Bath towels were thin and only slightly larger than a hand towel. We were given 1/2 roll of one-ply toilet paper for a three day stay. There are not enough outlets and we had to rearrange the tv and unplug the microwave to use laptop. My biggest issue is the way they handle their no smoking policy. I understand this is what most people want and have no problem smoking outside. We also do not wish to go where we are so clearly not wanted and it was only because of their false advertising that we ended up here. When making the reservation I was given the option of choosing a smoking or non-smoking room. When we arrived we were sternly told no smoking within 20 feet of the building. In a blizzard - on the second floor. I wouldn't have stayed here had I known this and certainly won't again. We felt like hostages. If it is a 100% non-smoking facility, SAY SO up front so the minority will know to go elsewhere and then everyone is happy. Oh, they also claimed no ground floor rooms were available, but several were clearly empty. The trek upstairs in the snow was quite treacherous.
The man in the reception area (ex truck driver) on the morning we left was excellent. Room we had was at the end of a corridor and was quiet and a fairly good size. Hotel was easy to find.
We found both women at reception when we checked in, were exceedingly terse, bordering on being rude. They both need to consider a career change. The bed was very hard, room not very clean. No WiFi in room. Breakfast was pityful. Parking isn't great.
Upon arriving we were given our keys and told our room was ready. When we got up to the room it wasn't ready the beds weren't made the blankets were on a table. We went back down and requested a new room.. Ended up having to wait ten minutes while they finished up cleaning..
Good value at cheap price.
breakfast included, fair price, big room
poor room service
The place was clean, newly remodeled and the free continental breakfast was great , Danishes , cereal , coffee etc. and they let dogs stay!
Nothing I loved this place
Trudging luggage up to second floor on an outside staircase was not fun! Breakfast room was very small and continental breakfast was so so. Wouldn't stay here again.
The staff were very helpful & the actual hotel was exceptionally clean.
The wifi wasn't working for awhile, but it was sorted out & once I could connect it was great
Cleanliness; helpful people; good value.
No deadbolt on the door, though it did have a slider chain.
Wifi was a bit spotty.
Nice set up. Rooms were clean.
Staff were a bit reserved. Not very willing to accommodate needs. There wasn't any kleenex in any of the rooms (we had 3).
Office staff was very accomodating, mattress was good
Facilities very aged, difficult to get hot water
Long black hair in the bad!!! Dirty bathroom, toilet and disgusting smell. Insects in the room. Never again. It looks like a hole. Dirty disgusting hole
The furniture in the room, the room was fairly clean, the beds were clean, the towels were clean, they had some flowers and such nicely decorated outside, nicely decorated room. Good value for the money, very good place to stay while passing through!
The parking, the staff didn't care much about serving breakfast or accommodating guests, we checked in at 11pm and had to check in at a night window which seemed a bit sketch, there were bed sheets randomly laying in a corner outside and they were still there when we left the next morning. There was a little bit of mold in the bathroom but not enough to be disgusting or dirty, there was a weird misplaced white broken panel underneath our fridge. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but not bad and not the worst we have seen on our trip.
poor wi-fi upstairs, bugs or flies (possibly bedbugs). Breakfast was very basic and poor. Too poor for the value paid for the motel
When I called to set up an early check in for my employee I was not told of an early check in fee. I told them there was a dog also and when I asked if there was a pet fee they did not respond and said it would be fine. My credit card was charged for an additional 20.00 for an early check in. And a 20.00 pet fee. When I called the hotel they were rude and told myself and my employee that I was crazy.
We were surprised at the high quality for the comparitively low price. We will return and recommend. T Goldstrand
Nice Staff Great Breakfast Clean Room Great location
Room is very comfortable and bed it wonderful. People are friendly and helpful. My favorite place to study in flagstaff
The next morning my friends said the had a little coffee pot in their and we did not. It would have been nice to have it but not a big issue
We have stayed at other Motels in this group and this is one of the best for friendly staff, cleanliness and location besides a reasonable rate. You can't ask for more
The room and everything in it was more than expected in this price range for a holiday weekend. thank you for a very pleasant stay
