Travelodge Houston/Hobby Airport    

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First the general manager didn't have our reservations so they put us in a room that was under construction and very dirty. We were on the third floor and the floor was wobbly. The next morning the manager promised to have a room ready that was suitable for humans by lunch. We returned after dinner and the room still wasn't ready. My wife had to have surgery the next day so she was very stressed. The NRA was holding a conference in Houston so there was no other hotel within 50 miles of the city. The second morning there was no hot water so I was not able to take a shower before going to visit my wife in the hospital. the manager was just finishing the repairs with the contractor when I checked out and I was angry but he said at least you have hot water now if you want it in a couple of hours. The manager also stated that booking.com was the one that overbooked the hotel and made it impossible for us to get a decent room. This was a freakin nightmare and I am going to report the hotel to the BBB in Houston. I have never seen such incompetence in my entire 60 years of my life. No matter what the good rate was.

There were a lot of complaints when I checked in, but my room was fine. My luggage got delayed for over 2 days and the manager/staff have helped where they could to solve my issues.

For me no complaints, but I did here quite a few other guest complain. This hotel is under new management and the current issues will be solved soon.

The room was primitive and not in a very good shape.

The room was roomy, liked the microwave and refrigerator, nice to have the table and chairs.

The carpet was grose, very dirty and spotted, no hair dryer but staff brought us one, the ice machine was not functioning but staff gave us ice.

Great stay and attendant was very helpful!

One of the staff(George)has excellent customer service skills. The others were rude and sullen. The phone in my room did not work, no hair dryer and no iron. I had to ask for an iron at the office, and it was old and never got hot. I had to wear wrinkled clothes for five days. There were occasional roaches crawling about and the carpet was stained. All in all I will never stay there again, even if it is cheap.

We were kept awake most of the night by people above us fighting, was very unpleasant stay

Location and price.

Language barrier (thick Indian accents). Asked for a wake-up call since they didn't provide an alarm clock - they failed to call. Also in a dangerous part of town.

The staff was so friendly. Very quick to get us to the airport. And very quick to pick us up when we landed, even when we landed at 11:30 pm, thank you!! They had my room key with them and dropped me at my door. All we had to do was go in and go to sleep.

The room was hot when we walked in. But cooled off quickly.

When I arrived to my room it smelled horrible,covers and sheets had cigarette burns and I didnt feel safe in the room I was put in.

It did not have bedbugs.

Outdated, felt unsafe.

It was very clean.

I did not dislike anything.

Breakfast options and dining area both need to be improved.

I have been traveling for 30 years, spending up to 200 days per year in hotels worldwide. This is the worse hotel I have ever staid in and I would rather sleep in my car than returning to this place.

Very guest oriented and helpful! Our stay at Travelodge was awesome!

It is close to the airport.

The room smelled like cat urine and there was no blow dryer in the room.

Was a great location, cheap ,clean and bed was comfy.would recomend this hotel . Plus shuttle to airport runs 24 hrs

It was one of the most dirtiest places I have ever seen!!! I didn't even want to take my shose off or get under the covers!! Shame on you!!!

The hotel was very unclean, the staff was limited in capabilities to perform their job. Although, we paid in advance for the hotel it was so disquisting we went elsewhere. The rooms smelled of urine, it looked like a place where prostitutes and drug dealers hand out regularly as many people were smoking, drinking and loitering in the parking lot and outside their rooms, very frightening. Would not recommend anyone stay there!

For $39 a night, I didn't expect much. I wasn't disappointed. Place is a dump!
