Budget Lodge  

The location was good being that it was close to the interstate. Seems like the area is being remodeled. Lots of potential but not at this time.

The pictures of the hotel is nothing like what we experienced. We were on the 7th floor and it appeared to be only 1 quite small elevator to accomodate the guests. The place smelled like it had been wet up on the seventh floor. We had 3 rooms and one of the sliding doors appeared to have been caulked but not well. There was about a 1 1/2" to 2" opening in the sliding door that could not be closed. We were very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is not any Budget Lodge that I have ever been to.

I was not pleased with what I saw when I arrived. The picture on the internet was more luxurious than the original. The building was shabby. I could barely open and close my door because of the carpeting. There were holes in the bathroom walls near the shower and on the door. It didn't smell cleaned. The phone didn't work. I was scared to used the elavator..due to the fact it might get stuck.

This place was in a horrible part of town. The balcony door literally fell off. The water came out of the faucet black! I feel like I should have been paid to stay here rather than having to pay.

the staff was friendly

The place smells bad. the water was cut off early in the morning we could not wash or use the bath room. The shower did not work well. I would never stay in that hotel.

The only thing that I liked was the fact that my 4 year old and 7 year old thought they were in a luxury hotel.

I didn't like anything about the stay. I was shocked when I saw the hotel. If I could have cancelled without loosing money, I would have. The pictures that were shown, were very misleading.

the continental breakfast was horrrible and not enough food at all. when we arrived there was a pile of dirt in the sink. I wanted to leave but we had made the commitment to staying . would never stay there again.

The motel is lost in a dead industrial zone ! No connection possible from/to airport ... no shopping options around ! About the rooms, it was a catastrophe: textile floors full of vampire bugs and mosquitos !! Had to leave the room in the middle of the night to prevent decease !!! UNACCEPTABLE !

The room was dirty..the pato windows were dirty...the swimming pool had plastic bags floating in it...the elevator was not working...this place should have been renovated after huricane katrina

I did not like the building at all.it looks scary fist place. from inside there is not good mantaince.the top ceilings in the rooms are full of mold,i found no trash containers in room,coffee maker was broken,very dissapointed.never again.

The hotel was great we hardly was there we were satisfied!

The absolute only thing i did not like was that one of the elevators got stuck an we had to walk around to the other one but all in all it was a good stay!

Everything about the hotel. It was almost like an abandon building, with old and dirty furnitures. Bedding had torn comforters, and bathroom dirty with toilet bowl loosely attached to the floor. The elevators were inoperational with the only left very scary as it operates. It looks nowhere near a motel let alone a hotel in the usa. I think the place should be renovated or shutdown.

the place is run down, repairs are needed and those that have been done are badly done. would not stay here again.

The rooms did not look like what was in the picture! There were two couples in the room we had two bed one for each couple! But they would only allow two people in each room so we had to pay for another room with for the other couple and pay extra money that we didn't budget for!! It really wasn't called foreach we wanted to share a room we should have been allowed to we were all adults!! Then we were told we couldn't have company or anyone visiting us even though they were not staying the night, They had to stay outside and could no come up to our room at all like we were sex crazed teenagers!! I will never stay here again nor will the others!!

Staff putting out breakfast was not wearing gloves very unsanitary.

This is going to be long so for those who do not want to read this ill sum it up... Do not stay here ever!!!! We got in town late and went here. The guy at the counter was so rude and treated us like we were criminals. We asked for a non smoking room but as soon as we got off the elevator it smelled like weed. It was so strong my friend couldn't fall asleep at first. We entered the room only to find it was filthy. Cigarette buts all over the balcony, the bathroom was covered in mold, balls of dust caked up in the corners, ants on the sink, holes in the bed spread, stains on the sink, I can go on and on. If it wasn't for the fact the made sure the posted no refunds (which should have been a sign off the bat) I would've turned around and slept in my car, which would've been alot safer. Since it was late we just decided to go straight to bed. We both slept fully clothes out of fear. Unfortunately I had on a thin pair of tights which didn't really help. I couldnt sleep at first so I stayed up reading more of the reviews for the hotel since clearly the ones I read prior, which werent bad, were lies. All of the reviews confirmed that they were not given a refund, or discount for that matter, so I looked up more hotels in the area willing to take that loss. After I finally fall asleep And I woke up there was a bed bug sitting next to me. I jumped up and looked beside me and saw two smaller ones running around on the bed. I had covered my pillow with a scarf because I didn't want to put my head on it. When I looked at the scarf I could see the little white baby bed bugs crawling on it. I moved the pillow so see another large bed bug. At this point my friend want to take a shower and wash all of it off. She goes into the bathroom with her bathroom cleaner which she brings on every trip, she sprays the shower head and uses a towel to wipe it off, when she looks at the towel it had blood on it from the shower head.

This was the worse place we have ever stayed! The room had some type of bugs that bit us while we were in the room. There was a dead roach in one of the drawers and two live roaches in the toilet area when we arrived back to the room after being out for awhile. We did not stay!! When we checked out I told the clerk why we were leaving and nothing was said, and of course, no refund was offered. It was obvious they know the hotel has bugs. Maybe instead of sitting on a couch watching tv behing the front desk it would benefit this dump for the clerk to clean instead.

There was nothing I liked

The bedspread had pee stains on it, housekeeping tried to come into my room when I was in there. There was staff no where to be found. The outside door was bolted shut.

It was cheap.

Rude staff. I got harassed for being gay and they made us get separate rooms. Definitely never going there again or recommending it to anyone. It's not right.
