Close to public bus system Close to Waffle House, Wendy's, CVS & Sav-a-Lot Cheap for the proximity to NOLA Free waffles, cereal, toast & coffee for C.B.
Very old hotel, needs a lot of maintenance A NOLA resident told us we were in the ghetto and the Waffle House had armed security.
I don't like anything.
Building needs repair and updating. Water faucet spits out dirt and brown water. Closet door is broken. Building smells like food and not a hotel. Needs fresh paint.
Great Value easy access to I 10. Very easy to get motivated to go out and explore cause you don't want to stay in your room.
There wasn't anywhere to hang clothes. Sliding glass doors sound like a train when opened in adjacent rooms. The smell of Oil paint makes a great headache.
The owners and faculty members were very racist
Facility is poorly kept
Very good staff and clean rooms
They are doing a lot of work here which is badly needed but they were very good and tried to make it OK for their customers
Room Size, Cleanliness and value for money
Breakfast arrangement and 3 tables to cater all the guests
Nice room Comfortable bed
Water leak in bathroom above tub, dipping of water constantly all night, not enough plugs for electronics or the appliances that they have themselves, no body mirror to see self, curtains didn't close properly causing me to think someone was looking through my room
The price was good.
There was too much smoke, even though they put a non smoke sign in the front door.
The view of the city was wonderful from the 6th floor, the price was very affordable, and the employees friendly and helpful.
The pillows were flat, there were ants in the room upon arrival. The elevators were slow- the whole hotel looks as bit run down, but not really dirty. The bathroom door was installed upside down. Not really an issue until we went to try and hang up our towels and realized we couldn't!
There wasn't enough towels and we experience some bed bugs so we asked to move to another room.. The room was much better than the first room I guess that was one of the renovated rooms it had a flat screen tv it was nice
It was close to where I needed to go
We had to be switched to another room because we saw bed bugs n the other room they gave us had only one bed when we had two beds at first.. And not enough towels
Staff, cleanliness, location
Need a better system and items for breakfast for those who don't eat sweets
the free breakfast had nothing to offer, not even real OJ. No muffins, or anything you would expect from contentinal breakfast. The room seemed dirty, and the AC didn't work properly.
If you're looking for something cheap and don't care about much more, it is definitely that. Very low cost. Nice pool.
Rather run down, doesn't offer very good breakfast, and bad location.
It was close to the casino and downtown new Orleans
The pool was dirty and the balcony doors wouldn't open
we got a room with a beautiful view, staff was very nice and helpful
pool was dirty, far from the city centre
Easy to get to the highway from hotel
Hotel was in bad condition and I didn't feel comfortable... I will pay more money the next time I visit New Orleans.
The price was reasonable
Got bit by bed bugs
My nieces and nephews liked the pool even tho there was beetles in it
~The room AC didn't work, had to move rooms. Moved to new room and mini fridge didn't work. ~We found a spider crawling on the wall. I asked if there was a Infestation and was told no but was on the elevator with a pest control man. ~Phone's didn't work in either room. ~The iron bed rails were to long for the bed so my son, niece and nephew fell over it hurting there legs. I had to wrap it with a towel. ~It was five in a room so we asked for four more towel and was only given one because they said they didn't have any more clean ones.
Need new furniture
The staff was nice and listened to out concerns about the first room we were in.
Once all the rooms are remodeled they will be nice. The so called breakfast area was dirty and disgusting. They need a wheelchair ramp for the front entrance. The first room we were in didn't have blow dryer, paint and caulking chipping in bathroom, tub faucet dropped and didn't work properly . The bathroom sink was chipping. Thank goodness the room didn't smell.
