Beautiful country. I enjoyed riding thru the mountains and desert on horses and side by sides! Hiking is also great. I took a hot air balloon ride over mountains and desert country and it was awesome! It was easy to drive around in this big city because the people are courteous. I visited a camera shop and needed them to ship something and they couldn't do it. But one of their customers said they could do it. So helped me out greatly! This town has great places to eat - I stayed at a Ramada with Guadalajara Mexican Grill beside it and the food was exceptional there. They even make your salsa right in front of you. The stay was great- just too short!

Tucson is a large city in southeast AZ.
Tucson is a large city in southeast AZ. There are many attractions in and around the city. We particularly liked the many hiking trails, the 2 Botanical Gardens, and the Desert Museum. Wonderful weather for hiking and birding! You need to have a car to get to the attractions.

Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see.
Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see. We were not there long enough to see and do everything we wanted. But enjoyed our stay. The hotel was great. We went to the air and space museum. It takes quite some time, but has a lot to see. Also went to a market, loved that. Really cool. They also have the largest gem show once a year, usually in February. Missed it. Want to do that. Beautiful mountains to explore. Great food too.

Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spectacular. Could have used more towels to start off with. Only provided three and we had 4 guests. Plus our dog. She liked the sausage and all the parking lot smells.

Terrific green chili burger from Grillers and Chillers cart...
Terrific green chili burger from Grillers and Chillers cart at Tucson Quilt Fiesta, where we spent an entire day! Easy to get around town. Scored at the sale rack at Summit Hut just before closing time; fine outdoor wear.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Even our snob friend who was traveling with us had to recognize that it was a great option. We had a problem with the bathtub but the staff quickly sent someone to fix it and even offered us to change rooms at no cost, great service! The room was very clean and the breakfast was a lot better compared to other more expensive hotels. Without a doubt, we’ll stay here again when visiting Tucson in the future.
Good comfort (spacious room, big bed king size), well equipped. Kind and helpful staff. Very Good location (near to Downtown (pay attention to current detours due to important Roadworks) . Outsourced Breakfast with neighbour restaurant (standard incl = 5,$ value). We were afraid of this formula which has disappointed us in a previous hotel visited but this time, it was fully enough and moreover, the personal was very kind!!
Breakfast is very basic but healthy items available were apples, milk, yogurt and plain original Quaker oatmeal. Hotel room was very clean. Staff very helpful.
Location is within 15 minute walk of El Con shopping mall and on the same road as Tucson Botanical Gardens a few minutes drive north. Italian Restaurant next door has a large outdoor garden dining space that includes a Bocce ball court.
I loved the place. Fun and funky art in every room. Very clean rooms, and a fun out door pool area, with outdoor games, Corn hole, etc... Breakfast is an oatmeal bar with plenty of toppings along with PopTarts and good drinks.
they also have Tucson Tamales for a charge. I would definitely stay here again. It's a great value and close to downtown and lots of restaurants.
Really interesting decor, cool rockabilly Western vibe. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. One of the last American hotels with real character. Great rate in the summer, surprised it was one of the more affordable hotels in Tucson. Discounted parking at an underground lot across the street, felt safer than parking on the street down.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast did not have a great selection. The room layout was good but I had to change room after having the maintenance person trying to fix the toilet that broke twice. The carpet is unhealthy and dirty. The bathroom/shower pieces are falling apart. The rooms in this hotel need upgrading!
A wonderful spaceous house with the most beautifull view over Tucson. Big bedrooms, 3 out of 4 with attached bathrooms and 2 out of 4 with attached walk in closets. We could make a fire, which was lovely as it was cold for the time of the year. Big kitchen with everything that we needed and a big eating table. We truly loved it!
Breakfast Oatmeal bar and coffee was great! Perfect for kids - small pool, ping pong, cornhole, foosball. Cute and homey. Extremely clean rooms. Not walkable to downtown Tucson because of interstate, could access river walking/bike trail with a 10 minute or so walk. Nice little bar area at night with seating by fire pit.
We love the place, it's gorgeous and makes you want to just stay indoor or in the patio next to the pool, but the location is equally great, being just a couple walking minutes to the main Downtown locations you might want to check. The owners were amazing and we had nice time in Tucson, totally recommended!
Everything. This is our 2nd year staying at Starr Pass. It is an exceptional value, The condo is excellently equipped, the grounds are beautiful, the location is excellent for taking advantage of things to do in and around Tucson. Looking forward to returning next year.
Breakfast was fair, good selection just needs more love if u know what I mean. Room was awesome, stayed on 3rd floor. Staff was friendly, the bar was nice. It will probably be my Hotel spot when in Tucson.
This property is sort of a cross between an Airbnb and a bed & breakfast minus the breakfast. The rooms are themed, stayed in the Persian room. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Tucson
Great hotel near the airport and easy access to South Tucson. Great room and helpful staff. The hot breakfast was outstanding and the bar and restaurant wonderful for dinner. Highly recommend.
Room was quite clean. Close to downtown Tucson and to my workplace. Wendy helpfully explained some bothersome company policies to me so that I could avoid running afoul of them in the future.
i loved cleannes i never like that deposit that never comes back on my acct,i stay in other hotels for that reason, and i want my points on my stays usually dont reflect
The property is in a central location to U of A and downtown. I’ve stayed in Tucson many times this the first but will not be the last.
* Exceptional value
Perfect location on the north side of Tucson, easily accessible from I-10. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms with everything one needs for a good stay.
