I have stayed there for the past 4 years because of my illness and they always seem to be friendly and courteous not only to me but to other residents.
The weather was cold but that is out of the hotels control, otherwise everything was great. I wish breakfast would include more selection like biscuits , bacon, and eggs
location is good,breakfast
cockroaches, smell of dogs urine, hard for signal internet
when you turn on heater the smoke alarm would go off, desk said that happens and if we open the door it would stop, it did not. the night we signed up for the shuttle, desk clerk said it would leave at 7:30am, but we got down for the shuttle, the clerk said it was not running and my wife was 30 minutes late for her apt and we had pay 13.00 for parking. we will not stay at this location again will not recommend Best Value to anyone.
Believe it or not .... Only the location!!
Unclean room. Noisy bed and soft, mushy mattress. Spider webs in almost all corners, with a used personal condom found near the bed. First time to experience such a drastic outcome. Simply a nightmare.
I like that we were able take the shuttle and save on parking at the medical center. The continental breakfast was great and the staff was very courteous. I would strongly recommend this facility. Good place to stay when in Houston. Close to downtown and medical center.
Swimming pool very cold, but we expected this at this time of the year.
The staff, espectially the drivers were good
I Had problems with the mattress, because I had bodily pains whenever I woke up in the mornings and had to sleep on the floor most of the times.(Room 106)
Close to where we wanted to go. Staffs were very nice.
A/c was not working in our rm and it smelled like sewer.. We were given another one , smelled better but the AC and the exhaust fan were so noisy. Bed was hard, vanities has some cracks on it. The whole room was not as shown in the picture in the internet. We were just for an overnight stay so we stayed but it's not gonna happen again.
Pet friendly at reasonable cost ,shuttle availabity and freindliness of operator, breakfast variety and quality excellent . Staff was excellent, location close to med center was perfect for me.
Room was clean but in bad need of maintenance, loud music in adjoining rooms till 3am
Convieneint for Medical problems and the Medical Center of Houston, Schuttled was very good, saved us stress. Little cool for using the pool, but when I see a clean pool, and pool being attended too, I feel they try to keep the rest of the complex, clean!
we were placed at the back of the complex, maybe because of time of registration, so to go to breakfast and schuttle bus, we had to drive our car. but also this put our car close to front of complex..better security?
The first room we were given in the back of the hotel was very run down and super moldy smelling. The mold was so bad, it made me sneeze and sick within 5 minutes. We went back to the office and got a new room in the main part of the hotel which was a lot better. It's a cheap, old hotel.
Bugs, noisse, breakfast, it was dirty.
Near the medical center
Chair upholstery worn down to the padding, bathroom door hanging and squeaking, lavatory faucet plugged, rusty water from the shower, elect. outlet exposed, (no cover), air conditioner had only one speed, and the air directional vanes were gone or broken.
Across the stretch from NRG Stadium.
The room was muggy, dirty, and smelled like an nursing home. I had to go buy air freshener. It was so muggy in the room the sheets were damp. I actually had to kill a beetle crawling across the floor.
Cold AC Shuttle driver
Half of the lights didn't work TV reception terrible Remote control didn't work Mold around light switches Sink drain was very slow Front counter person was rude Iron was stained Musty smelling room
Clam and secured place
The location was surrounded by stores & restaurants.
One the first day there I found two bed bugs. I got up the next morning& there were two more bed bugs under the comforter. I took a picture of the four bed bugs. I will not stay at this hotel again. I was not satisfied.
Quiet and relaxing. Away from the city's hustle and bustle.
A little far down town if your interested in major attractions (but still close to transport and activities).
convenient to the highway, restaurants, and hospitals.
hotel is in need of a major renovation, the rooms were not clean, people sitting outside on the parking lot drinking beer
As usual it was great. I like consistency and always know I will have no or few surprises as to problems.
They have a lot of trouble with their TV reception. They advertise a variety of channels. However, you only get 5. 2 local, 2 HBO, and ESPN. I have reported this is the past and it doesn't seem to be addressed.
Restroom too small
Overall, the room was clean. I like that the location of the place is very close to the bus stop and you can easily get anywhere you want. I also liked the fact that the Starbucks is right next to the hotel as well as CVS and Walgreens. They have a nice pool.
The hotel room was furnished with very old furniture. There was a bad smell in the room and I just couldn't stand the smell of it. The internet was horrible. I actually couldn't get on it. I waited for 20 minutes for the page to load, but it was unsuccessful, so I gave up using the internet in the room. The doors are not easily opened and closed. You really have to push hard to open and close the doors.
I like nothing!!!!!
Rooms were musty, bed had a screw in it which hurt my knee. When I walked into bathroom it smelled of urine and the floor was wet! Then the bathtub was full of someone else's dirt and grit!!!! Tried to get another room it smelled also!!!! We left and went down to Palace Inn which was clean, nice bathroom, &flat screen TV.
Pool was dirty. Breakfast had bagel with mold (staff was alerted and replaced others). Cockroach found on room.
Poor Wi-Fi to do business Poor TV service in room
