Absolutely everything. A very charming house with overly gracious hosts.
The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and friendly, and their house is a gorgeous and slightly quirky real American house. We were on a road trip and this was our favourite stop, so different to all those chain hotels and motels. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too.
Nothing this place is fabulous
Everything: Location, Decor, Accommodations, Delicious Breakfast, Charming and Helpful Host and Hostess!
Staying for only one night.
The tree house was great as were the scrumptious breakfasts. Next time in that area we will definately stay here again.
friendly caring owners, absolutely delightful. Yummy breakfasts and and wonderful scenic location close to town and yet country-like. would certainly return.
Beautiful country setting, interesting decor, and wonderful hosts.
Many steps to bathroom from tree house, but worth the walk.
Shar and Brian are excellent hosts, helped us with dinner options and reservations, did everything they could to make our stay perfect. And it was perfect. Quite a beautiful location and the room, bed, breakfast, etc. etc. was exceptional. Will be back.
This is a wonderful B&B run by a fantastic couple.
Nothing; it was great.
We stayed in the beautiful, rustic tree house. Wow! Everything - the setting, the decorative touches, the privacy - was such refreshment to our souls. This is a real tree house with no plumbing facilities (private bathroom with tub/shower a modest hike to main house) but far more comfortable than camping. We would gladly stay in the tree house again. Just relaxing on the deck with coffee and fresh muffins in the morning shade, listening to birds singing and the breeze rustling the pines was worth every penny. Would love to escape here again someday!
At first, we weren't sure we liked the distance to the bathroom (and it is a hike so one must be able-bodied to make it), but we got used to it once we embraced the true experience of sleeping in a tree house. (It does have electricity, which is a plus.)
This B&B is located far enough from the major road to ensure quiet and peaceful relaxation, and near enough to the "action," to cause it to be ideally located. Brian and Shar, two very likeable folks, obviously studied the area when locating American Country B&B. Friendly owners, great food, peaceful mornings, tasty coffee and treats before a gourmet breakfast, exceptionally clean facilities, beautiful structure, great location all add up to a great place to getaway to.
I did see one tiny and lonely weed far out in the gravel.
Brian and Char are great hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.
The couple who run this place are on top of every detail. The breakfasts are excellent. The decor is consistently "Country Store" throughout and quite charming. Every detail is nice.
There was nothing not to like!
As I am from Post Falls, we don't typically stay in hotels/accommodations because we have so much family in the area. But this was our getaway vacation from the little ones and we were very pleased with our choice in stay! Their home is absolutely stunning and they were very courteous, outgoing, and a pleasure to visit with. I would highly recommend their B&B to anyone that wants to stay out of town just a little bit and enjoy the serene environment that they have to offer!
Breakfast was a little scant but that's about it!
Shar and Brian were the nicest people and WONDERFUL hosts. They make you feel like they've known you forever. The B&B was not only beautiful but it is impeccably clean, a little whimsical and so, so comfortable. The rooms were perfect with bathrooms in each bedroom and the beds were very comfortable!! The special little things they did to make our stay special was incredible - from the snack bar available with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, nuts an assortment of wonderful teas, the sweet treat on our pillows at night to the early bird breakfast tray with fresh coffee and feshly baked muffins to get you started . . .all before the wonderful breakfast they serve. The food was amazing. I would totally recommend everyone stay with Shar and Brian. You won't regret it and you will want to go back again as well.
I didn't like the fact that we had to leave so soon. We will definitely be returning here if we are in the area again.
Loved Char and Brian. So warm and welcoming. Very charming home. Appreciated the cookies/snacks, especially since we arrived so late.
Enjoyed our stay, wonderful B&B, Innkeepers so gracious!

The hospitality at American Country B&B was amazing! We didn't know what to expect having never been to a B&B before, but Shar and Brian definitely set the bar high! They are so sweet and generous and make delicious food :)
Very friendly owners and excellent breakfast. Nice tray of juice and muffins brought to the room was a nice touch.
The decor was a bit over the top, with too many frilly things, nik-naks and plastic flowers. Lots of interesting antiques that they have collected.
