The American Inn Punta Gorda is off Interstate 75 and is less than a 15 minute drive from City Beach Park. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Cable TV is included in each traditional room at this hotel as well as a personal work desk. The rooms have bedding with colorful patterns and wood furnishings. Location, but won't stay there again. Poor lighting in room, no access to WiFi for computer, soap/shampoo dispensers, dirty towel

nothing....wouldn't recommend this place. asked questions about being billed through booking.com and the motel also and he wasn't nice in explaining so I called booking.com and HOPE I am billed only once. bathroom sink was plugged up all the time there, no help. pillows are sheets need to be replaced. towels were like tissue paper thin. owner not friendly at all.

This is an old Motel but the rooms are clean. It is OK but, the location is rather remote however, there is a nearby Supermarket and Chinese takeaway.

Price was reasonable The staff had a seriously bad attitude, plus it was the worst nights sleep I ever had!! Air con was like a tractor running in the corner of the room and the smoke alarm started messing about and kept me awake all night. When I complained the staff was not interested. They made me pay up front for the room, now I know why! Never ever ever will I stay there again!!

Really lovely hotel. Cannot fault it's big, clean rooms, fast wi-fi, lovely amenities and hotel services. The receptionist overcharged us by $6.60 - over that quoted on your site. We were treated like criminals when we questioned it, and she literally threw the $6.60 at us. There was no explanation or "sorry". Shame that it occurred in such a nice hotel.
