The location was the only good thing about this place. We came for wsu graduation and it was very convenient. Also the Old European next door had amazing breakfast with awesome customer service!
The whole room is older and needs an update. This I'm totally fine with I didn't expect glamorous and it's just a room. But it was so dirty! The deep cleaning is missing. Essentials like the phone, remote, and ice box are dirty with brown in all corners, something that is so simple to wipe down. Again still something I can handle but I do require a clean bed. The bed was not clean. I removed the comforter from the start...we all know they never get washed. The sheets appeared clean but the blanket had a large spot caked with food. I'm talking like 4x5inches of crusty food that could be scraped off, not a stain. As if that wasn't enough when we called to complain we were told no problem we will replace it tomorrow. We had to argue for a new set of blankets and sheets and never once received an apology. She at one point tried to move us into a "non-smoking" room which clearly was not but continued to lie that it was. We know what endless cigarettes smell like. Then it was back to the old dirty room, we finally received new linen but she left the dirty blankets on the floor in our room. Again no apology or offer to refund us any money for our trouble. The other small things were the cable went in and out and the wifi was slower than using my cell without it. Small things in comparison to the bed. I would not recommend staying here and we will not again.
location and price
unclean carpet unclean comforter generally run down condition of building and rooms.
Not a bad motel, but they let some hunter with a pcak of hunting dogs stay in the room directly overhead. Really? They came in after midnight both nights and left at 4:30 am or so. The sounds of dogs scrambling on the floor and up and down the stairs made sleep impossible. NEVER put dogs on the upper floor!!!!
The beds are dirty and uncomfortable
there was a microwave and small fridge, and the wifi worked pretty well, but....
no coffee maker, the room was badly in need of upgrading: grout/paint in bathroom very messy and old. door locks seemed flimsy, and there was a bottlecap on the floor from a previous guest, so how well was it "cleaned"? Stain on one pillow...other two looked clean I guess. Just overall grungy looking. I paid half as much for a MUCH nicer hotel room in Reno last weekend, so this was really a let-down.
Worst hotel we stayed at while travelling, but most expensive.
The price, ease of checking in
Decent accomidations for a great price.
Could have used fluffier pillows or 2 each.
Everything. Filthy, uncomfortable, one flimsy blanket, wi-fi didn't work(even though they say it does). We bought clorox wipes to wipe down all the doors handles and light switches. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. And, they have a 30 day cancellation policy!
Staff was friendly; but not very accessible. When we had an emergency, we were refunded one day of reservation- albeit at the regular rate rate of $ 70; the the two days we stayed were at a 3x inflated rate.
Was not able to get anyone to give us acces code to internet. Due to wsu game, which was not my reason for being in Pullman, rates were inflated over 3x the usual.
Price and availability
Cleanliness and overall feel of facilities. Seem like it needs some renovations.
It is cheap and in town.
There was a bug in the bath tub. Our neighbor guests stayed up till 4AM. The carpet is not very clean. Someone smoked in this non-smoking room.
The owner of the hotel is really nice person. The room is clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable.
Close to campus, right next door to great restaurant.
Check in staff wasn't very pleasant. Didn't explain anything. Just had you sign charge slip. Lights didn't come on from the inside switch when you opened the door. Had to go inside the room to turn on the lights. Could hear traffic from my room when air conditioner wasn't on. All that considered, I will still stay there again.
Nothing to like.
Parking is awkward, building is super old and out dated but not in a good way. Room smelled bad and even if it was clean it was so out dated and old it did not look clean.
Located down town.
The person in the office had such a strong accent and poor English skills that I literally could not understand her.
Old. Mold in shower.
The room was very dirty and needs a serious update.
run down way past due for updating
No coffee pot in room noise room
did not clean room after first night and when asked to only provided clean towels and refused to service room
Very close to campus. Room was clean and the staff was friendly.
