Americana Inn  

This place was one up from a sewer!

They never said there were no bathrooms, nor clea sheets! This was despicible and you ought to be ashamed to rent things like this without disclosure. Also I was charged an additional $22, they said for taxes when I was told by you the total price was $126.66. This was a huge rip-off!

'Americana Inn' was easy to find. It is located in a perfect area in NYC. My room was equiped with a nice designed bathroom sink, mirrow, clothet, a sleep-comfortable bed and a beautiful view out the window to the 38th street. In general a good place to go for discovering NYC for a couple of days. Nice brochures at the reception.

Well, the restrooms were located on the floor, and at my check-in time the floors and also the room was smelling like urin at the beginning. At the late evening when I returned into my room the smell disappeared, so I hope the cleaners found out a solution how to avoid that strong smell again. All in one everything came up into being a good memory at the 'Americana Inn'. Thank you for that time.

The location is great but does not worth the money I paid. Is very noisy all day and night. The staff is not gentle at all, I did not even have any help with the luggage or anything. The are no vending machines or bar at the hotel, no fridge or ice... I'm surely not coming back ever again.

The location is very convenient to many NYC attractions. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was clean.

It is not very attractive, and rooms are very small, as you'd expect for this price in Manhattan. There is one restroom for every four rooms. For those who want an inexpensive place to stay, and the room is simply a place to sleep at night, it is an acceptable choice..

We liked Americana Inn's location primarily, and since we got it in a flashdeal at booking.com, we loved the price. The room was turned-down everyday, there were no bedbugs or waterbugs or any kind, it had a pleasant smell and was very warm.

Wow, this could take a while but i'll be brief! There was a man at the front desk who was the rudest guy i've ever come in contact with in a hotel setting. He told four of us (yes, four) of us that check-out was 2pm, and when we came back to our hotel and packed up on our last day we couldn't get into our rooms. So we all went down there and got an incredibly douchey lecture about how that's not the case, and we were wrong for thinking it was 2. We did not think it was 2, he told us it was 2 and then threatened to charge us for another day for his mistake! The noise from the street was in-sane. The rooms were so freakin hot that we had to open the window (in the middle of winter!) just to sleep, but then the noise prevented that. We had insanely loud people on our floor, and complaints from the staff about us (everyone staying there) 'slamming' doors, yet they had zero hydraulics on any of their doors so they 'slammed' by themselves. Overall, I would never stay here again and I suggest you don't either! There are plenty of better hotels in ny (even in mid-town) that are affordable thanks to booking.com's Flashdeals.

It was nice, clean and modern. It was also safe with key card access.

There was nothing that I didnt like but the only downside to this hotel was that the room was really small. Hardly enough room to walk around the bed.

No restroom in room. It should be underlined in booking sheet.

The location is perfect! It's just 2 or 3 blocks away from Times Square and it's in Midtown Manhattan.

Shared Bathroom. Im just not used to it.

The location was great. The staff was friendly, and the hotel well tended to.

I know it is Manhattan, but the price seemed very high for the "budget" class of the hotel.

It was clean and the staff was very responsive to our needs.

We were shocked that we had to share a community bathroom with others. this is below standard for business travel. we have to ask for hairdryer and iron, and the room was beyond tiny! It was very overpriced for the spartan accomodations. For my own personal use, if the price was reasonable and fair for the accomodations I would consider staying there for a sight seeing or pleasure trip as the location was good. The price was the same as the luxury hotels more or less.

Good place, near to time square, lincon centre etc

Near to road, noisy. The aircondition is not so good so that the noise is loud.

Price was steep however, for shared bathroom. And it appeared that in my booking that $200 would be the total price but when it came to paying at the counter, $30 was charged extra for tax
