The location & cleanliness.
I couldn't take a bath and relax since the hot water flow was 3/4 less than the cold water but was fine for a short shower
We didn't stay.
scared to death from the second I walked in the door. never ever stay here again or recommend it.
Very old outdated furniture. dirty. did not look anything like advertised pictures.
Clean, quiet and good value
at this price I can't complain
No ash trays or garbage cans in room when I asked for something to put my garbage in I kept getting put off over a course of several days.
the refrigerator and microwave in the room was an unexpected surprise
the checkout time was a little too early
Room was colder inside than outside. And the cops banging on the door next to my room and yelling at those patrons woke me up about 4:30am
You get what you pay for.
Staff was never available for assistance. When we got there, we stood around for 15 minutes before anyone showed up to the front desk. Breakfast was ok but once it was gone, it was gone. I guess I had to get up earlier. 1st come 1st serve.
External entrances and neighborhood provide no security. Loud music late at night. Cars coming and going at all hours and dated facilities made this a unpleasant stay.
It was a good rest on a very cold night...
Our heater smelled like jet fuel for Yuck!!!!! Sounded like one too ....
The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
Neighbors yelling and fighting all night. Telephone in room didn't work. Breakfast area was very dirty and had to ask for Un spoiled milk.
Good price front desk will help anyway they can.
Maids should speak English.
Staff at the desk was great as well as helpful.. The room was okay, not great, but for 60 dollars I was not expecting the Ritz.
Unfortunately, it was cold and the heater had been left off so it took some time for the room to warm up. Getting hot water at the shower was a problem. After several minutes on full hot, the water went from warm to shower temperature. It would be better if it were faster and save water. Lighting was also just okay. They have cold lighting verse warm color lighting. If you're older, this might be an issue in seeing. Lastly, the grounds felt a little scary. Lots of people walked thru the parking lot and made me a bit nervous.
The flat screen TV was larger than most.
The staff was hard to understand and never available. There was bugs in the room. Bathroom was missing towns and wash rags. Furniture looked like it came from second hand. No alarm clock, the shower nozzle was backwards and had to wait 10 min for water to heat up. Stayed 2 days and had to get new keys past checkout both days. Lobby was dirty, stuff everywhere. Property in poor condition.
It was very cleen and close to everything.
For the most part, the staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating.
There was no lock on the door other than they key entry lock, I did not feel as secure. The walls have dirty, dark patches. Clearly even wiping the light switches is not part of the cleaning routine on even a monthly basis. Top sheets are not provided for the beds! The heater blew stinky air and made annoying noise.
Old dirty and no towels except bath towels...never again.
Best value hotel I've ever stayed at. Nice rooms, very clean. Great wifi and the continental breakfast was actually really good. Nothing fancy of course but for those of us on a budget it's a great option.
Price per night was good especially since I had to be here for multiple nights.
The room did not look as nice and new as the pictures shown. The breakfast was free but i would recommend just going elsewhere to eat. Bathroom was NOTHING like the picture, Furniture was worn/busted, mattress was the cheapest you could get, outdated tv, the (artwork) had additional "streek art" added by a previous resident. Notice I said resident and not guest because it seemed to be that the neighbors all knew each other as if they've been living there for some time. During the day it was quiet, but as soon as the sun started to set it started to get noisy. Either people yelling or just plain being loud outside running back and forth between rooms constantly knocking on the doors to be let back in. Came back to the room one evening to see the cops had shown up to a room and had a guy in handcuffs, then a few days later woke up to find 3 cop cars down in the parking lot for some reason. I didn't even fee safe leaving my truck parked out there for the fear someone would try to break in. Would not bring my family or child here. If you read any of these comments and they say how great this place is then most likely it's the staff just trying to raise the score to look good. Won't be coming back here again, I'd rather pay more next time for somewhere nicer/more secure.
The location is good if you want to be close to downtown salt lake but not pay the high prices of downtown hotels.
I was only there one evening, cutting my stay short by 2 nights because it seemed like there were guests who were more like permanent residents smoking on the balcony and letting their kids run amuck. The room was shabby and dirty...even found a hair in the tub!
If we did not dropped something under the bed, probably we will never find out about the used condoms lurking beneath and that was a total turn off!
Awful spray smell, stainy carpet, breakfast area a mess with very sticky floor, during night time very noisy from right, left, above and outside.
Close to downtown by car. Family friendly kids under 18 are free. Non smoking rooms are much cleaner and nicer .
Not enough towels for number of people. Pool was disgustingly green with thick algae growing on top. Front desk/customer service almost non-existing, either they don't answer the phone or hang up on you. With more attentive staff it could be a great place. Too many weekly renters, scary for children.
