When we booked this hotel I was a little worried what we would find once we got there, for some of the reviews were not good but we just needed something cheap as a pit stop on our way to Florida. When we arrived I was happy with what we found, the staff at check in were very friendly and polite, the rooms were small but clean and comfortable, the pool was clean and the children enjoyed swimming. There wasn't a large choice on the continental breakfast but that wasn't a big deal for the kids for there was cereal and with that you can never go wrong. We will be staying here more often on our way down. Thanks for a great stay.

The staff was great.. My family and I enjoyed our stay.. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We even had to do our laundry due to the fact we had 14 people all together and the staff provided us with laundry soap.. My kids loved the rooms and enjoyed the pool. The rooms were very clean and very cold.. Just hoe we like to sleep

Price. For the price it is a good value. The staff was friendly. The room was on the back side of the hotel, so it was very quiet.

We are Wild Adventure Season pass holders and it is so nice to stay close to the park for such a reasonable price. If you like a/c go to your room and turn it on first thing it takes a while to cool off. If you have back problems the beds and pillows are thin and wore in. If you have young childern the breakfast area is not a safe area for them the waffle maker is on a shelf it barely fits on and does not have the propor safety guards around it warning hot easily a child could get badly burnt in such a small dining area.

The only thing I did not like was the odor in the room... Like the air was being recycled n it had an old smell.... Febreeze was our friend... Other than that it was very good for the price...

This was a nice place to stay overnight when traveling to Florida. I will stay there again next year. The price was excellent, even less than what I was quoted when I booked it. It was clean and very comfortable.

Check in and out was a snap. Very easy to get to and conveniently located near a Cracker Barrel, McDonalds, Wendy's, and several gas stations. The room was clean and looked brand new (hell, maybe it was!) We had a downstairs room and heard no noise from upstairs - no feet, tv, nothing. The king size bed was a bit soft, but we were so tired, it didn't matter. We both slept like babes until 9 am (usually we're up at 5) and woke up refreshed. On second thought, maybe the bed was perfect.

The location was very good - we were spending the holiday weekend at Wild Adventures theme park. Hotel was pet friendly and desk clerk as well as manager were both extremely accommodating. Reservation requests written on the original reservation evidently did not print out at the hotel - first floor rooms, traveling with a dog, king size bed, connecting rooms. Hotel does not have an elevator so traveling with a large cooler, a pack and play, luggage, plus being disabled made climbing the stairs making multiple trips would have been impossible.

We take an annual spring break trip from Indianapolis down to Sanibel, and we always end up staying near Valdosta on the way down. Trouble is, the area is almost always booked solid and since we are only staying a few hours (check in around 10pm and out around 8am) I don't want to pay for a super expensive hotel. Ashburn Inn was perfect. It was cheap (rougly $45) for my wife and I and two young kids to stay in, and it was a "hotel" in that you had to walk inside the place to access your room (my kids loved that...we normally do motels...room access from outside). The place was very clean, very friendly, and there is a gas station right next to it for easy refueling. This has become our new go to stop on the way down. I can't recommend it enough.

The rooms are nicely and equipped with refrigerator and Microwave.Bathroom Tiny yet nice. Breakfast had Waffles and Bagels. The first room I was assigned to had a strong smoke smell, I was then changed to a different room. The second room the Over Sink light was out, when asked front desk, I was told to wait and see if the manager who would be in soon would want to change the bulb. 3 Hours later went to front desk manager was then present and said I don't have anymore of those lights. I was given a small nightstand Lamp to place over the small vanity to light up the area. The Ac made weird stop and go noises every couple of minutes. The sink vanity is uncomfortable and the bathroom door opens over it.

Good value for a short stay while travelling. Room was musty when we first arrived. We turned the A/C on and went to dinner. Upon return it was much better.

Its close to the interstate. If u need to rest a few frayed nerves or some weary muscles onl but want to save money this might b your place. Other reviews r correct. There is musty smell. This hotel surely not a 3 star hotel as suggested by booking.com Do not b fooled if it says 3 star. Its close to 1 and 1/2 @the most
