I could hear the adjacent rooms conversation clearly as if they were all standing in front of me. That contributed to not being able to get a good night's sleep in a addition to the bed being somewhat uncomfortable.
I liked that there was free wifi and the bathroom was nice. Also the room was clean with the exception of the rug.
That I couldn't stay longer!!! :)
Excellent service and even added an extra cot, bedding and towels to our room and waived the fees just being a great business person! All staff was friendly right down to the chambermaid staff! We'll be back here for sure!
Not well lit outside
SO, this is basically a motel and while I can tell they are trying to do a good job (renovated rooms, pleasant staff, clean), they are working with old bones. In my room, whenever someone used the water, Id hear a buzzing sound in the walls. I suspect I was on the end and the water heater was close by. But, if you just looking to sleep here at night and not spend any time here, its better than the 2 star places near foxwoods.
The place was clean. While the room had a musty smell, the front desk guy offered several other rooms and was trying to accommodate. Staff was helpful overall. Its a basic place to sleep and the bed was comfortable. Decent value for the money. Johnny's Pizza is really good and close by.
The shower floor were alittle slick. A bath mat would help.
The double queen bed room was very comfortable and quiet
This is a budget hotel but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived how tidy and clean it was. we would stay here again.
Noisy traffic, extra firm mattress, creepy hide the stains old fashioned bed spread, glass enclosed front desk does not make for a warm welcome.Very basic. do-it-yourself room upgrades.
Good location for my needs. Old fashion style motel with easy access to rooms. Clean. What seems to be the norm for this part of CT.
Entrance door did not have any type of secondary inside lock (ie. chain or bolt) wich made me slightly uneasy.
Quiet, clean, economical. You can park right in front of your door.
The room smelled The bed was not comfortable The towels were thin No breakfast restaurants in the area other than Dunkin's and McD's Did not feel safe and secure
The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
Color of walls in room - personal preference!!
Everything! Accommodations were great - staff very friendly, especially owner - and everything you could need right there - Walmart, liquor store, restaurants, gas stations.
No clothing hooks in bath
Large clean bathroom and spacy room
No coffee maker in the room (but Dunkin donuts right next door). Dumpster truck at 7 AM banging outside your door wasn't pleasant, but I was up anyway.
Very clean and updated motel. Small refrigerator and microwave included. This was our 2nd stay and will definitely stay again.
The only issue we had was the firmness of the bed. We're used to a soft pillowtop mattress, and this bed was very firm. If you like a very firm mattress, you probably wouldn't have any issues though.
The gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant. The room was very clean, the water pressure and temp was good, and the air worked well. It was in a good location with a walmart and a McDonalds right down the road, and a Dunkin Donuts right next door that you can walk to. It was good for our over night stay.
very clean has refrigerator wifi works well
Visit was a pleasant experience , manager/owner was very nice room was clean and quiet considering it was on Rte 6 and next door to a Dunkin Donuts drivethru will make reservations soon for a Fall visit
Slight musty smell, very basic room.
Friendly, helpful staff. Well located for our needs. Reasonably priced.
I, along with my friends who were in the next two rooms, heard noises, like thumping-ish noises, coming from above us, which was weird, since it was a one-story building, and those noises were a little disconcerting. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say.
The room has been recently updated, and I am happy to say that the bathroom was the best bathroom I have ever seen in a medium-priced place to stay! It was better than most in really pricey hotels! I am big on cleanliness, and I felt it had been cleaned well, too. I thought the bed was going to be on the stiff side, but I slept very, very well, and was comfortable, so I was proven wrong, which is great with me! The heat worked very well, too, which I appreciated, too.
Friendly staff and cleanless
Room was a little cramped. Wash cloth was stained which probably should have been replaced.
Except for noted deficiency Motel is in a good for a nights stay.
they need fluffier towels
The room was freshly painted, they just remodeled everything. very clean, will def go there again
That the B'fast was not included any more.
Friendly owner who tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
tight parking with the snow banks
nice size rooms
