The lobby was clean and decent
The room was nothing like clean other than maybe the bed. Carpets and other furniture very dirty.
The fact that the maids talked badly about the customers. And then we were gone for the day and they left our door open and unlocked and never cleaned the room. We complained and they gave us the run around about how they couldn't do anything for us and refused to let us ttlk to the owner or the manager ...
Dirty, extremely dirty, smelled, horrible.
Discount that was applied even after booking amount. Was very quiet & mattresses were very comfortable. Not fancy but was great for 1 nite on way to vacation spot.
Not enuf towels but they did give us more with no hassel. Refrig was off with puddle of beer in bottom & smelled like it but after got it plugged in it was fine.
The bed was clean and bathroom was clean but carpet had a lot of stains on them. Only stay here if you really need somewhere cheap to stay.
Bad area, carpet nasty and just run down
the size of the room. the comfort of the bed. we had stayed in 7 motels on our trip and it was by far the nicest room we had.paid as much as 75 for a night, for a dump. So overall was impressed and would definitely stay there again
would you believe no toilet paper!!. had to ask for towels as were none frig didn't work so we lost a small amount of food. The day desk worker was very rude. when told of my room. he replied to another worker "what does she expect for 29.00$?
We were put in the non-smoking remodeled building when I told the receptionist that I have a baby.
The older buildings are VERY ghetto. Ask to see your room before you pay. Read the fine print.
Reserved a king non-smoking, received a double full 3 times. When we finally did receive a king, It was smoking. Cigarette burns in carpet, no iron or coffee pot as stated, room was awful, no remote, dresser was broken. I always pull back the sheets & check for bugs, sure enough, bed bugs! We left immediately! Also, they are so bad, they refuse any & all refunds! We would not recommend at all!
Room did not have towels upon checkin. air conditioner leaked. carpet soaked bags overnight. dirty. candy wrappers in room. management unempowered to offer credit or fix. breakfast buffet during week was a joke. coffee and cereal. Not a good experience.
Restroom was dirty, wall paper was falling off the walls, telephone didn't work, air conditioner barely worked but only blew warm air. When I brought all of this to the managers attention, she just acted like it was no big deal. Won't be staying here ever again.
Breakfast was fair. Just waffles, juice and coffee.
There were no towels or washcloths. We asked 3 times and the staff they would bring them. Never did. Thank goodness we had our own. The Wi-Fi was very poor.
easy on and off I40 access. located close to a dunkin donuts
waited 15 minutes in lobby for night clerk to show up. room entrance light not working. carpeting stained throughout.bad order in room. only one towel per guest. security door lock broken and inoperative. stair rails littered with pigeon crap and lighting not working. was charge for room even though had reservation and paid for 3 months in advance. referance #675677297 dated 7/1/14. still waiting for refund from best value per their admission of double charge. dealing with modern highway robbers is frustrating.
I am nearly 65 and have traveled most of my life. I've stayed in great hotels and very low end motels and this is without a doubt the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in even though I had what was supposedly one of their better, more expensive rooms. Floors are filthy and stained, upholstered chair is filthy and stained, coffee pot was uncleaned from previous guest with old coffee in the pot and no new coffee service, lamp doesn't work, plumbing for sink does not work, no iron had to get one from front desk, ironing board did not work and collapsed on me - had to get one from front desk. There was dried up old fruit in one of the corners behind a chair, glass tables on floor standing lamps are dirty, bathroom surfaces and bathtub were dirty, hair dryer did not work. I really wanted a shower and I wouldn't even get in there. The rod for the shower curtain looks like it was picked up from some junk yard with the plastic mostly ripped off and the being all rusty. Toilet looks like it's been a long time since it was properly cleaned. And to top it all off, the manager overrides the deadbolt on my room and enters at 9 PM with some guy. There was no security lock for the door as part of it's latch was missing. I was at the front desk at 6:30 AM to get an iron and a gentleman heard me complaining about my experience. He said his first room was terrible and the second room was also disgusting. He said if he'd been with his wife instead of traveling alone they would have checked out and gone elsewhere. I have complained to Americas Best Value Hotels and have heard nothing from them. I will NEVER stay in another one of their hotels.
Shower was excellent
Motel was in a high state of disrepair.
Had to change rooms twice due to wet carpet in first room, second room bathroom had not been cleaned. Final room was acceptable but not what I would recommend to anyone. The staff was good but the rooms need a make over, pull up dirty carpets and replace with some flooring that can be mopped. For what we received the price was entirely to high.
While the lobby was nicely decorated and the clerk was pleasent, the rroms were filthy. The air conditioning was not turned on in the room even though the outside temperature was in the 90s. There were no batteries in the remote control. The towel racks were falling off the wall. We had only one towel in the rooom and the carpet was so stained that it looked like something had died in the room. Do not stay at this hotel. Spend the extra money to go somewhere else. I know we will from now on.
Housekeeping was horrible. My room was nasty.
Gym is awesome, but could use a cleaning, dining is all close by which is a plus. Great place to stay
Needs more attention to cleaning.
Although my room was right across from a major truck stop, the noise from the truckers arriving and departing was minimal.
The only accessible ice machine was on the second floor.
The internet connection was not so good.
Dirty towels, dirty rooms need renovation. We came with our child at 8.30 and there was no breakfast left, even no coffee.
free breakfast, had guest laundry, quiet, room was clean. manager and all staff friendly. Breakfast room was clean. I would stay again, price was economical.
ice machine located on second floor, no elevator...makes it quite hard for disabled person to go get it, I had to send my son. Several building on this property. I was told no animals in second(nicer) building, but we saw a cat in somone's window everyday.
Problems with billing. Problems with room. Problems with housekeeping. Was double billed for the room.
