The location is conveniet to public transportation to Oakland and San Francisco.

Guests were noisy and sounds travel easily through floors and walls. WIFI proxy server tried to hack my computer -- continually sending popup screens asking me to permit "rerouting to another page." Not a happy thing. The key card often didn't work and the desk clerk was snotty about it. Just for the record, I am not a magnet and I don't deprogram key cards. Nor do I associate with people who are magnets and go around deprogramming key cards. The problem is obviously a defective or inadequate programming device which doesn't have enough magnetic oomph to magnetize the stripe. But the hotel doesn't seem to catch on. It is a good thing that I always returned to my room before midnight. Otherwise, the defective key card would not have gotten me into my room, and I would have been standing outside in the cold for eight hours until the office opened again.

The staff were very helpful. My room was kept clean. The location, although far from downtown, is located at the same corner where the 52 bus line (which passes every 20 minutes), that gets you there in around a 15 minutes. And, most of all, is at a very good value in comparison with other options in Berkeley.

Only stayed there because Best Western and others were full for that weekend. Room smelled of cigarettes and I was not advised.

Price was much less than other hotels in the area. Close to Cal campus. The microwave and fridge were great.

Noisy part of town.

We stayed here with our two children the night between seeing to S.F. Giants games. The property is vintage and has been in the area since the 1940s. It has a quaint, Spanish-style charm that our whole family loved. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating (able to get us into our room almost 2 hrs early!). They shared ideas for things to do in the area as well as wonderful places to eat. We were less than a mile from the freeway (I-80) and also from the North Berkeley BART station (approx 30-40 min ride into S.F.). Our room was very clean. WiFi was available in our rooms (I didn't have my laptop with me to try it out, however). While aspects of the property could use updating, we found the vintage fixtures, tile, etc. charming. Property was quiet. We didn't hear any neighbors or street noise. My kids thought it was great! We'll absolutely go back!

New carpet would make it outstanding.

The room was quiet and the proprietor was friendly.

The room reeked of disinfectant. There were chipped tiles and flaking paint in the bathroom and there was mold in the shower. It was overall a dismal, dingy room.

Simple, functional and a good price.

I think that my stay at the hotel was good. However if you are planning to visit sfo during the majority of your time, it is going to be difficult to reach the transportation system an return very late at night. About 15 minutes by walking fro. Themetro station to the hotel is a long journey. If you're planning to visit sfo, book a hotel nearer to sfo.

Location: it is just in front of the bus stop from/to Berkeley University and North Berkeley Bart Station (Bus 52) Price: it is economic compared with anything else in Berkeley Clean: even that it is very old, it was clean

It is an very old Inn, that just cover the basic needs. I felt it was too expensive for what it is, but the truth is that in the Bay Area everything is very very expensive and this is the more economic option

房间还行，就是靠近马路边上，略微有点吵。

アクミベーカリーの目の前で、４THストリートにも歩いていけます。バートのノーズバークレーから徒歩10- 分程度。

La situación, no hay nada alrededor, ningún restaurante ni tienda.

Le personnel étudiant est très aimable.

L'établissement ressemble plus à un motel. La salle de bain était un peu sale, le linoléum était tout tâché et noirci. Il n'y avait pas de sèche-cheveux dans la chambre. Cet hôtel constituait la dernière étape de notre parcours et nous avions choisi cet établissement un peu plus cher afin d'y être confortable pour la dernière soirée. Vraiment cher pour la qualité !

værelset var meget lydt, man kunne tydeligt høre hvad naboen lavede.

La nostra stanza era grande e i letti confortevoli. Buona la posizione, comodo per andare a prendere il treno per San Francisco.

Non tanto sicuro - la porta si chiudeva a malapena. Lontano dalla zona con risoranti e caffe'.

es el típico motel de las películas, coche-habitación, absolutamente "sesentero", ahí su "encanto" la gente es muy agradable y te limpian la habitación todos los días..., si quieres algo diferente, limpio y a 20 min de San Francisco te lo recomiendo!

Clean and friendly at relatively low cost. Reasonable facilities.

We received an email directly from them in advance of our stay checking details and whether there was anything else we needed/to confirm. We requested a roll-away bed for one of my children, which they said they'd sort. I was initially impressed, but then the bed wasn't in the room/had been forgotten when we actually arrived on the first evening, so had to request again, causing a delay in getting back out for a meal and the kids in bed for a reasonable time. If they'd never initially asked about it I probably wouldn't have been so bothered, but they did...

Proche du centre de Berkeley.

Vieillot et pas très confortable; sanitaire pas très propres. Rapport qualité :prix faible comparé aux autres hotels utilisés durant ces vacances. Pas de restauration le matin.

The room had a very strong musty smell to the pont of giving us all headaches.

Ucバークレーでの会議に参加するために利用しました。 ホテルの目の前から大学までの直通バス（ac Transit Line 52）が出ていて、思ったより大学が遠く感じられませんでした。 ホテル自体は、アメリカの普通のモーテルといった感じで、可もなく不可もなくでしたが、スタッフは感じが良- かったです。

壁が薄いので隣の部屋の物音が結構聞こえてくるのと、幹線道路沿いにあるため自動車の騒音が多少気になりま- した。
