The room inside the parking lot, with no light from outside and smell of gasoline. Breakfast room too small with not enough seats for all the guests. Want to store baggage after checkout? You have to pay
Room was quiet Sauna in the room - interesting touch
Coffee was awful, breakfast area unpleasant and small, breakfast uninteresting ...
Location (not far from Marina, Piers, Fisherman's Wharf) and Chestnut Street but behind the hotel is very nice Responsiveness from the employee: water was blocked during the shower into the bathroom and the hair dryer was broken. I warned the staff the morning and when I came back the evening, everything was repaired Breakfast: included, simple, but enough Globally I would recommend this hotel but some things can really be improved
Problem with cleanliness Carpet not so clean Water blocked into the bathroom and broken Hair-dryer: I don't understand that I had to tell it to the staff whereas they should have already checked it and not wait the Customer tell them ....
our stay was enjoyable ,being central for walking to the golden gate bridge,or a walk down to pier 39,both are a good half hour walk and as we walk a lot was hardly a challenge, older elderly people may think otherwise
breakfast area small and clustered, but most others are nearly the same
The staff was unfriendly and not very heldpful. The hotel and rooms were just barely adequate - very rundown. The TV did not work. They did not have adequate on-site parking so I had to park on the street over 4 blocks away from the hotel. Hotel staff was not helpful at all in this regard.
The beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. For budget accommodation you really couldn't ask for much more! The location was also good with easy access to public transport.
The complimentary breakfast was a bit rubbish (no milk at all!!) but it didn't ruin my day or anything.
many bars within the area
noisy street, got a room with window directly to the street as hotel was completely booked
Size of room. Friendly staff. Near IHOP and Mel's diner (yum!). Near hop on hop off bus stop.
No AC. Parking limited. Breakfast
Conveniently located in marina district
Louder facility, needs updating, free breakfast consists of toast, bagels or packaged breakfast rolls in a cramped room off the lobby, i would just not serve breakfast.
Location to Golden Gate Bridge. Staff member David very helpful and patient. Rooms were clean and everything worked. Good as a place to sleep.
Parking is not guaranteed. First come ,first serve. Miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel caused some problems, but they were resolved after an hour on the phone. Check-in and Check-out process is long and there is typically only one person available. Noise travels easily through the walls and the floors.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was comfortable and clean. In a GREAT location and a great value for the money!
Check in wasn't until 3 pm. The staff let us park there while we went to sight seeing. Good experience.
The noise at night from the street. This was due to the building being enclosed. It was manageable.
Location, free breakfast, free parking, cleanliness
Very noisy rooms with poor sound insulation, very small rooms with little space to store the luggage, overall pricey room rates
As we requested they provided us a room in a silent part of the hotel and the room was king of specious and bright.
The young guy in reception was kind of rude and I can say he didn't know nothing about behaving way with a guest in a hotel. After chick-in, we couldn't find parking space in hotel and we had to leave our car whole the night outside in the street. Unbelievably, we found one of the bed sheets really dirty, with big stains in which we had to remove that from bed. Also, strangely, They asked us to deposit 50$ in reception, just to make them sure that we'll deliver room safe, the thing that I've never found in reservation policy of this hotel and I've never seen before this strange rule in any other hotels that I have stayed til now. The breakfast room was really small and breakfast was really with few options.
Not enough parking spaces, which turns out to be a real problem if you arriving after 5PM.
Easy parking. Friendly reception staff Nearby bus took us to fisherman's wharf and to Union Square.
No space to sit down for breakfast + very small breakfast area. Choice of breakfast poor. eg no eggs or yoghurt. No fresh milk for cereals and not enough choice generally.no muffins only sweet sticky cinnamon bun.Air conditioning outside from the room next to us was very noisy. hence no sleep Traffic noise also from the main Lombard street where this motel is positioned.
not enough parking place
Comfortable room and beds. Good situation in the city.
Very limtied breakfast. Limited parking. Not "beautiful hotel", but that is not a problem for us. We wanted a clean, comfortable and well-situated place; and this hotel has this features.
clean enough, not noisy like some
shower-drain issues, sparse towels
The staff were excellent, helping to solve issues and giving tips about the city.
Wi-Fi terrible and parking complicated because there was more cars than supported.
Good location, free parking
Breakfast is only caffe with a piece of bred in a room for 4 people. Poor wifi, which was not even available 24/7. Corridor smells like pee, even after 3 days noone cleaned it. They charged our credit card 3 times, and didnt want to admit it, now i payed just as much for a queen room in a 2 star hotel that i could pay for a king room in a 4 star hotel... Bed was not comfortable, our backs were in pain after useing it.
Ben in the reception gave us good tips. The nearbu chestnut street with a lot of good And trendy restaurants. Location its good.
Tiny room, a litle high priced for a motel...but consider you are in San Franciaco.
It was in a good location for the Marina area activities. Transportation connections were excellent.
Took me 1hour to find a parking place. WIFI went on and off often. Huge noise from the aircon. Very basic breakfast. Poor showering facilities. Not recommend at all.
Location and staff were excellent. Very friendly.
Lamp didn't work so the room was very dark even during the sunny day. Felt gloomy Also needs to list motel parking is limited, public pay parking is close.
