it is not clean
The hotel did have wi-fi. I received a code after I went down to the front desk to ask if they had wi-fi. And when I couldn't find any ice machines, the girl at the front desk did give me some from a small cooler behind the front desk.
Where to start . . . first, there was dried urine on my toilet. Easy clean, I thought. There was also a half-eaten hot dog on the floor by the desk. The room reeked horribly of smoke, but it was a non-smoking room. But probably what upset me the most was that while I was lying in bed reading my book, a cockroach crawled across my pillow. I was horrified. It ran between the headboard and the mattress, so I pulled the bed out only to reveal more bugs - dead thankfully - under the bed. After fleeting attempts to kill it, I took a picture of it to show to the front desk. I showed the picture to the front desk and asked for a different room, where I was told no. She did however tell me that if I catch the cockroach, she would send someone down to kill it. She claimed there were no other rooms. However, the parking lot had 3 cars in it. My guess is that the other rooms were not up to guest standards, as one couple came down after checking in and said, "we don't have a TV or shower head in our room". I spent several hours in the lobby as it was smoke-free and cockroach-free. I did sleep in the room with the lights on, and I managed to kill the cockroach as it climbed the wall by my bed at midnight. Worst hotel stay ever. I am amazed that this hotel meets regulations.
Old and deserted
Nothing, it was horrible
The place is run down... This is not a hotel or an inn or whatever! Take it off ur list, booking.com It stinks all the way from the reception, one person is the receptionist, the butler, the plumber, and probably the cook....eeewww. The rooms have non smoking signs stamped all over them but they stunk. We asked for another room; on gettin there, the toilet wouldn't flush properly. There was what seemed to be blood stain on the duvet. And the man at the desk had the guts to question y we were leaving????? Nobody shld go here!!!!!
the pool was in good shape and the room was in pretty good shape, although some time and effort could have improved some of the issues like buckling door frame that I caught my leg on and the shower wall gaps, etc.
poor contenental breakfast- day old donuts 2 cheap cereals and yuck coffee. the location was in a kind of scary part of town and we were led to believe it was closer to the museum district than it actually was. One of our desk people didn't even speak English and could not help us when we were looking for the place.
Staff tried to accommodate my requests. I felt unsafe on second floor so I moved to first floor close to the reception desk. I asked for a blanket, they didn't have one but they gave me a sheet.
The price was very high (99.00) for the location and quality of the hotel. I've stayed at better motels and paid less.
everything was just perfect
nothing- all good
Very dirty hotel Dangerous location Filtty rooms
Rooms stinks Poor service this is a motel not a hotel
Swimming Pool only except able feature of the hotel.
Customer service. Exterior of the hotel. False pictures of the hotel. Breakfast. There were not working lamps and room microwave was out of service.
It is situated on Highway.
1. Poor Ambience 2. Rude staff 3. I paid for 9 days whereas I stayed 6 days only (early checkout)
Things done right and no drama
very old , the room had holes on cieling and bathroom door
Location and hospitality of the staff
The location was great. I enjoyed the fact that there is a Mexican restuarnt close by which met my needs.
The Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Poorest I have ever had. After the first day, I deceided not to bother.
Nice spacious & clean rooms.
Coffee makers in rooms but with No coffee, might as well just remove from rooms. very poor service. breakfast is not very good.
Poor service and poor maintinance. Increased the price at the time of check in and paid all in advance.
wifi, comfy bed, clean bathroom, Mexican restaurant next door.
A tired, run down hotel. Noisy a/c unit, dark, unwelcoming corridors, miserable staff, pathetic breakfast, no toiletries in bathroom, coffee machine but no coffee. Needed a bed for the night and with OTC on Houston was rammed and this was the last room in town. Describing the location as the Galleria is ridiculous. This is nowhere near the Galleria and is separated by one of Houston's busiest highways.
Matresses were like new and clean. Bathroom was clean
Staff was very rude ( not all one in particular), appearance of hotel in general was disappointing and my key stopped working 5 times
Poor selections for breakfast that was to be provided. No coffee or frig was in rooms. Toilet paper holder had fallen off wall. Would never stay there again.
conveniently located near the Expressway
The Elevator is in need of maintenance and repair, The rooms need to have the carpet replaced, The walls are too thin and allow adjacent rooms noise and conversations to spill over, The shower head had low pressure, There was a coffee pot available - but no coffee cups, no coffee, no coffee condiments to use, finally the breakfast available was a lousy box of doughnuts from a local bakery
This hotel was a surprisingly decent hotel given two stars. The room was clean and fairly modern and overall I would consider staying there even though I'm used staying at three and four star hotels
Bad bad hotel
Very bad hotel
No safety chain on door. No toilet paper holder Dirty (yellowish) pillow cases
If I weren't so desperate to leave Austin @ SXSW I would have definitely done more research before trusting your reviews! This place smells, it's nothing as advertised, we never got breakfast because there were constr
That manager was nice to move us to another hotel that was much better.
