The location was scary It's located on a main road, which was loud. Continental breakfast was interesting...just pastries and bagels, and nowhere to eat it.
nice and friendly place, pleasant and helpful staff, strategic position for public transport ... try it!
The location, staff and overall facilities are excellent for the travelers that will spend most of their time site seeing, and need a place to backup and prepare for the next day
Wifi connection wasn't good, you had to step out the room to actually use it
Pool Price Good neighbourhood Close to shops Breakfast included
Breakfast very sweet, pastries and bagels, not what we're used to
It was very near the Airport and close to many retail stores and expressways. The facility was very clean and well maintined and an excellent value
excellent location close to public transport, supermarket and other food outlets.
could have had more frequent room service.
Staff is friendly and near to down town transit center and near bus stop no need to walk long distance to board bus.
Corridors stinks and Rooms also stinks a bit less and air conditioners makes a lot of sound. Wifi is very difficult to find in room if you move outside the room and stand in corridor you can find good signal and very horrible experience for internet not idle for business people.
The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. We stay here every time we visit San Diego. Good location, close to beaches, Seaworld, Zoo and Old Town.
Parking is kind of limited. Had to be in early to ensure a space.
Location with Bus stop Right next to it to Old Town station and with the car fast on the freeway. Friendly staff, good selection at breakfast.
From two rooms for three nights we had, one wasn't made twice.
The staff was superb, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked fantastically.
We had noisy neighbors, and the building looked old with layers upon layers of new paint.
1) Breakfast - poor selection 2) Batteries not included in remote; had to get maintenance man 3) Smell of room 4) condition of room 5) lack of parking 6) water ran hot, then cold 7) clientele
Good position for airport too, quite clean, good price
The price is affordable and, for this price, nothing to complain, but pretty unconfortable, old, poor common spaces. I have honestly to admit that you get what you pay, and maybe a bit more, but next time i definitely would pay more for a better stay.
One of the workers there opened up my room two hours before it was supposed to be because I was ill. He was so sweet.
A bevmo right across the street. Also a jamba juice and a walgreens close by. The sports arena was very close which was our primary destination for the weekend.
The bathroom was small and not very clean.
Really only the price and the proximity to the business that I had work at.
The location looks and feels dangerous. The parking is terrible design And very limited. I have a very nice luxury car and was fearful to leave it as it stood out like a sore thumb and I worried that it would be targeted. And it was. this location had guests that we're living there. when I went to the bathroom to try to clean up there were two water bugs, I told the front desk and I was treated with disdain. I left.
Manager was very friendly and accommodating. Went to SD with my brother for a day and a half tuna trip. We got back into port at 6:00am and we were dead tired. He understood our situation and was able to find us an available room so we could sleep rather than wander around town for a few hours. They have a washing machine so you can wash your clothes after a messy fishing trip. Very close to the fishing docs for deep sea fishing.
The parking is terrible. I saw other people saying it was bad but I just shrugged it off. I drive a truck and had to back-up a few times just to make turns and get out of parking spot. Even with a good WiFi connection I wasn't able to connect to my work VPN because the connection was too slow. The room was musky and floor around the bed was covered in dust. After I found this room I was a little upset to find a room for $15 less at Holiday Inn Express.
It was the cheapest option during Comic Con. Rather clean
1. too cold with oldschool AC, to hot without it 2. No hair-dryer 3. Strange smell in the room
Bathroom VERY small outdated Carpet very filthy with an odd smell Will not make another visit and will pay a bit more for a lot more comfort With the carpet being dirty messed with my ability to have a restful sleep wondering what else was dirty Bery bad parking issues as well Tight spaces and hard to enter and exit the lot
This was a less expensive stay for us, which was nice. We also liked the free wifi.
The continental breakfast was lacking, the beds were rock hard, and the hotel was outdated.
Great location, close to everything. Staff was great. They were on top of two minor issues that did arise. Room's were good size, comfy, clean. Pool was nice.
No patio,or balcony as stated in description. No hot tub, just a pool. Worst ice machine I've ever seen!(and I've seen a lot!) Not kidding, we we're there almost two weeks,I tried everyday to get ice.. on day two, gave up and bought a bag of ice. I just kept trying the machine to see if anything would come out. Twice....in two weeks..in August...
The staff were pleasant and location
The toilet wasn't on at first and had to wait. The air conditioner was dirty and looked bad
The raccoons outside.
The tv and the rough comforter.
Staff were super nice and helpful.. The pool was lovely!
The free breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the hotel was close enough to other restaurants if you didn't feel like just having a bagel!
Wifi, pool, parking, fridge
Beds were an absolute hazard with sharp piece of metal rod sticking out, bed base was made of metal tin, very smelly rooms, small windows, ac smelling of damp, filthy ceilings, poor water pressure
The price was good and to spend the night, the room was okay. the A/C, bathroom, fridge and microwave all functioned properly. With what they have, they are doing a good job. Free Wi Fi was good.
Reached the hotel at 2.30 p.m. and was told that the room will not be ready till 3.00 p.m., the official time for check in, so much so for the customer service. When we returned in the night after visiting Sea World, the room was ready, but not the family room we booked, but a smaller room, which had an additional bed put on to accommodate the five of us.
