Americas Best Value Inn Los Angeles- 7th Street  

Staff was great. I got there early (6:00AM) way before check-in. Since they had a room available they let me check-in right there so I could get some rest. Complementary breakfast was appreciated.

Room was dusty in some areas, wi-fi was a bit spotty and the bed sheets were to small and they had plastic that covered the bed which was a bit annoying.

I found this hotel a safe and convenient location in Downtown Los Angeles. The metro is a very easy walking distance from the hotel and I delighted in using the underground trains to visit many places including Hollywood, Union Square and City Cntre as well as making my way to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt welcome in this hotel.

One night some of the other visitors were having a loud argument outside in the car park and then a loud discussion that went for a couple of hours. Not pleasant but no fault of the hotels.

Upon arrival, I knew that we were in for something that would not be good. And boy was I correct. This was not a good place to stay. Unfortunately I inadvertently left my very expensive running shoes trying to get out of this bug infested hotel...did I tell you that water bugs were falling from the ceiling and into my hair?...or how they were crawling out of the wood work-literally????...when I asked the manager of the property if she would please check with the housekeeper about my shoes, I was told that she didn't see them...unbelieveable!!! Please consider carefully before staying at this property. Usually I would never write a comment such as this, but due to such an awful visit, I thought I'd forewarn you...

Okay so I wont sit here and rant and rave. But, parking is easy, rooms are cheap and location is within 1 mile of convention center etc. but, room smelt like homeless that you have to walk by on your way to the convention center for work each day or your event etc. I went through three candles and a bottle of febreeze before it got covered up enough or I got used to it after six days bc each room smelled the same. Oh dont forget to let maid service in because they wont give you extra towels otherwise. Really? Explanation from manager: " If cleaning lady cant get towels she cant clean towels to give you new." Wait what you dont have extras. Breakfast looks like a grocery store morning pickup, fruits, breads, cereals, slight beverages etc. All in all was better than driving an hr commute each way every day. So I took what I could. What I recommend this place. Only if you have to have a place to crash for cheap and close to downtown. Otherwise its not a get away hotel.

It was very easy to access downtown. The gentleman on night duty was exceptionally helpful with taxi & wake-up call. I felt safe there as a solo female traveller.

Price and location.

Very noisy room, could hear the neighbours as if we shared the room, personel was OK, no outside line in the room, breakfast did not deserve to be called breakfast and the food was over the date, when aksed for ice we recived two small bags.

I liked its location to restaurants, bars, public transfer and distance to LA Live. For the price, it had enough to keep someone comfortable. This will be the place I 'm going when staying downtown.

The placement of the outlets and there wasn't an ironing board

The staff were very good, cleaning and management.

If the pool had been filled and available, my satisfaction would be higher.

It was walking distance to downtown LA.

For the money, it was a decent hotel.

Location is superb, just 3 streets away from downtown!

Breakfast included, means there was nothing left by 9:30. And they wouldn't put anymore out.

Good location For those who travel with car and good price value

I liked the location of this hotel because it was a 10 minute walk to the staples center.

I did not like the bed, it was very uncomfortable & very small. It was a "queen" bed but it was more like a full size bed. My boyfriend & I woke up with terrible back pain. I tossed all night. Helicopters flew around all night as well. The room had no carpets so I walked bare footed & the next morning woke up with a sore throat. The hotel staff are very anal bout their remote control. We left it in the room (on the 3rd floor with no elevator-only stairs) & I had to go back & get it. They might as well have called me a theif. I did not enjoy my stay overall.

Se vc tem curiosidade em saber como é o cotidiano num bairro de imigrantes e de guetos, este é o local ideal. A noite o hotel parece ser ponto de encontro de traficantes ou coisa do gênero. Esqueça caminhadas a noite pelas redondezas. A menos é claro, que vc. Queira correr o risco de ser assaltado. O café da manhã é bem fraco . No check-out, pedi o recibo da estadia e a recepcionista escreveu o valor das diarias pagas num papel qualquer com valor abaixo do cobrado no site. Conselho de amigo : evite este hotel

Quase tudo. Café da manhã, localização do hotel e funcionários etc. Fique em outro hotel se vc. Não quiser transformar sua estadia em Los Angeles num pesadelo

La habitación estaba llena de hormigas. En la recepción del hotel parecería que había algo turbio (tenía pinta de que vendían drogas). La zona era fea de noche.
