Price for room.
I like the room itself. The tv was great. The bathroom came with shower gel and shampoo/conditioner dispensers which were nice. The AC worked. The fridge and microwave were very convenient
The parking was so bad that it ruined the whole experience for me. The "additional parking" is literally 10 parking spaces in a one way alleyway in the back that only had an entrance. If you wanted out, you needed to back out into the street
Clean room Location
Street noise Lack of Parking
The price was great
Easy access from 101 fwy, and walking distance to shops / food / etc on Sunset Blvd. Room clean and tidy.
Some traffic noise from adjacent street at night.
Affordability and cleanliness
Good quick breakie, staff always helped out and very good customer service skills.
Everything was great. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Your hotel provided more ameneties than other places. We loved the continental breakfast (tasty donuts and muffins).
It was quite noisy from the cars driving by.
For me the location was ideal - veery close to the people i was visiting
On-property parking was not always available (but not a big problem)
The room was comfortable, clean, nice big screen tv and wi fi.
The man and the woman who worked the night shift were very polite and helpful...I was looking for a Cuban restaurant and the gentleman directed me to where it was located. The housekeeping staff were very nice, efficient and accommodating.
The woman at the front desk, during the morning hours, really left a bad taste in my mouth. The word "rude" is overused these days. But, it applies in this case. She was totally unresponsive to my comments and questions, as if I was talking to the wall. Didn't even grunt or try to make eye contact, let alone smile. The hospitality industry is people and customer service oriented. She was not.
nice rooms, comfy and really nice amenities. ironing board a plus!
could hear the traffic from the road in the morning
Next to a very busy road which made it close to impossible to sleep!
It's noisy. The bathroom is leaking, besides we found insects in the bed.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and tidy.
No coffee making facility in room. Poor breakfast. Only drink and pastries/cake. Not what I would call a continental breakfast.
Very loud place. It was like sleeping in the middle of a busy street.
Great location Super fast wifi friendly staff great cable (good movie selection) very clean
cigarrette smeling room no pool
Friendly staff. Modernized rooms. Extra parking spots in the back of the hotel.
Limited breakfast options.
Good TV, comfortable bed.
Reception clerk behind bullet proof glass enclosure; unreliable electronic room key; toilet tank leaked; refrigerator set on max cold almost froze soft drink I put in there. They billed me an extra $50 "deposit" when I checked in; am monitoring my credit card charges to make sure they'll refund it. Hasn't cleared as of day after visit.
My room was super clean and the staff was as friendly and as helpful as they could be. Plus, free continental breakfast and wi-fi. What more could you possibly want? I will definitely be back!
The location may not be ideal for some travelers, but it fit my needs perfectly. It was a little noisy because of street traffic, but that's hardly the fault of the motel.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly. The hotel was just opposite the bus station which took you to the train station with access to Down Town and Hollywood. The breakfast was basic but very tasty. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet.
It was a bit out of the way from restaurants but we had take-out delivered. This is not a problem if you have a car, otherwise stock up in town before taking the bus back.
Only the price.
Staff rented my room while I was still there! Had someone walk in my room a 1 am. Scared my grand kids and wife..me too of course since the hotel is located in the heart of East la. Homeless living under the bridge of the Hollywood Freeway (us 101), not more than 200 yards from the hotel. Did not feel safe, staff didn't offer compensation for the error....won't stay there again.
The location was convenient and close to the places I was planning to visit and the room was clean.
The only drawback was that the bathroom door lock did not work and the shower did not have a good shower head and caused water to spray all over the bathroom floor when we took showers.
