Score from 70 reviews Very good
The staff was very helpful.
A musty smell in the room.
Staff was courteous, prompt, and helpful. Location was very convenient - we were spending time in Williamstown. Wi-fi and cable was good.
Very unattractive, bare-bones room; depressing parking lot view; poor amenities (one tiny bar of soap). Bad coffee and cheap, supermarket-style breakfast. Can't beat the price, though.
Staff were friendly. Wifi was excellent.
Bathroom was dirty. Water got cold while showering. Electrical outlets were few and mostly two pronged.
Location was good
The room smelled like stale smoke. The picture window was very dirty and it was way overpriced for two people $180 ! The breakfast was poor and the coffee terrible.
They would not take credit cards and I used up my cash that I had allocated for tolls, etc.
Cheap Location is pretty Nice owners
A bit run-down - needs work Breakfast was slim
The first room #3 smelled bad, the bathroom walls had mold, bed sheets soiled so we decided to leave. The clerk said to give her a chance to show us a better room #18. It was better so we decided to stay but found the bathroom plumbing was faulty-no plug in sink drain, bath & tub faucet water flowed at the same time, tub tile stained & moldy, ceiling light out, very noisy air conditioner, etc. We checked out the next AM.
There was no proper window in the bathroom, only a mesh screen and the hollow remains of what was once a windowpane. Did not seem safe.
mountain view; near to the Clark Art Institute; staff was helpfu
Insufficient light for reading
The owners were very pleasant and helpful.
The room was far from clean with many hairs and dirt in the washroom. The carpet was not vacuumed well with lots of dirt and particles left. My bed sheet had some small blood stains and dead insects were tangled up in the blanket. The dinginess and lack of hygene was very disconcerting. The $300 for two nights was way more than the value of the room. In fact, I chose to forfeit the second night and leave.
Staff very nice
No charm at all
The friendliness of the owners. They were very nice.
Motel recently purchased by young couple who are working hard to renovate older facilities. Accommodations are comfortable and clean now; they'll benefit from the new owners' hard work. Owners are welcoming, and we enjoy supporting family-owned businesses rather than chain motels when possible.
Pool out of commission for the summer and wifi connection spotty in our room. I understand these issues will be addressed as soon as possible.
The location and the veiw
Property was run down and not maintained well. The room smelled moldy. The ac did not work very well. The tile in bathroom was falling off of the wall due to a water leak in the shower. The ceiling tiles were water stained and sagging. This inn was not worth half of the price that was charged. Too bad, the mountain veiw is beautiful.
The view was excellent with mountains outside your door.
The mattress was very old and uncomfortable and a padded chair bottom had sunk in and made it difficult to sit on.
Easy to find, very helpful staff, clean room with a simple breakfast.
No coffee in the room.
Room clean - Hot tub nice once filled and hot but certainly put a lot of moisture in the room.
Internet connection bad in the room I was in #1 . . .distance from base station perhaps. Had to use my own hot spot - one blanket in room. Had my own which we used - otherwise okay - breakfast too basic bed fair
To tell the truth: Not much.
Room was less than 50F on arrival. At 6:00AM room was only 60F and all radiators were cold. I had turned temp to 75F. Maintenance in room was way behind. Tiles were coming off the walls in the shower, in places the wall paper was held on with tacks. There was a clump of hair on the blanket. The room in general looked dusty and unkept. Sometime after we went to bed but before about 3:00 AM all exterior lights were turned off and the parking area was pitch black. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and I would further recommend Booking.com remove them from their listing. Everything about this room was old and rundown.
Great landscape and quiet.
Room was clean but there was a smell to mold. The blanket had stains.
location for Williams College OK breakfast
Too many bugs More Clewaning
