It was easy to reserve on line
To long holding my bank account waiting payment
room was very clean. front desk folks were nice.
where to start? Rooms are small and appear old and dated. Hotel is on a main road next to a highway,so it is noisy. But what is appalling is the fact that we had to pay 300.00 for a room that is probably 50.00 any other time of the year!! We had to book this last minute due to another hotel not having our reservation listed. And since it was Memorial weekend, they charged a criminal amount of money for this kind of place. The Hilton down the road probably didn't even charge that much!
price internet parking 15 minutes to the center
It was the only thing I found available the time needed. NO air conditioning in the rooms and no views at all. the hotel is located right off the 1 hwy in Seaside. Its hard to get into after being gone all day and they had only 6 covered spots and about 7 open areas spots. if you cant get any of those then you are parking on the main street Del Monte. which is extremely busy. Anyone traveling to the campus of CSUMB (which we were), its only another exit down the hwy. we have stayed at a few other hotels in the city of Monterey for the same price at $129 a night that we enjoyed a lot better.
No air conditioning, no views and location (small)
On the 8/10/13 we parked our vehicle in the handicap spot. We went to dinner came back and a Jeep with no handicap placard was parked in the handicap stall/ spot. I did park on the street that night.
the furnishings were disgusting; they were chipped, cracked and looked like they were 50 years old! the sheet had a hole in it and u can hear next door neighbors. never saw a room THAT small AND DEPRESSING.!!!!
There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was no security lock on the door. The continental breakfast was a juice and coffee machine along with Costco danishes in the locked office. You had to ring the bell to wake the owner up to even get into the office. There was limited parking, so we had to park on the street. It appeared that a few people may actually live in the motel rooms. Our son has allergies and was having difficulty breathing due to the mold and moisture in the room. I had to argue to get a refund since we could not stay in a room due to my son's health. They were rude and insisted that since I had made reservations I could not have a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
It was somewhat clean
Over priced, right next to the freeway bad location no breakfast liked advertised very thin walls
