Everything but the TV remote.

The TV remote did not work. I got tired of getting in and out of bed to change channels manually, so I simply turned off the TV. It was too late at night to talk to someone in the office.

We were very troubled by that fact that they scanned our credit card and our drivers license into their computer which allowed them to keep a copy of the front and back of our credit card and drivers license. I was very uncomfortable and if there were other options to stay else where we would have, but all hotels were full due to the Monterey Jazz. The husband and wife who manage the hotel promised us that it is California law and that once we check out and no damage to their property they delete all info. However, I was still very uncomfortable and advised my credit card company to be alert to unauthorized purchases. They also advertise breakfast included and coffee services in rooms. But the breakfast was a cheap hostess danish and there was no coffee services in the room. You had to go to the front desk to get coffee and it tasted old, not fresh. I strongly do not recommend this place.

Had a flat screen TV. But no HD so what is the point? There was a fridge and old microwave. Room was a good size.

Bed was horrible. Was bowed in the middle. Our feet and head layed higher than then our bottoms. Carpet was old and not very clean. Put the comforter on the floor so my kid would play and not get dirty. Bath tub not very nice. Towels were thin and starting to tear. I asked if I could get an hour late check out cause my kid was still napping at 11. He charged me 5 bucks. Ridiculous. The motel was empty. The only reason I stayed here is because everywhere else that was good was booked or overpriced due to the Jazz festival in town. Booked at $214 for 2 nights total price. I was charged $242.

It was inexpensive

There was a very loud party next door (VERY LOUD) with VERY LOUD music.

Close to Monterey/Carmel Clean room (although it was a smoking room) nice staff

The breakfast was just coffee, juice and not very good boxed pastry

Paid $291.00 for a 1 star motel , not even a coffee machine in room. Will never stay with Maricas Best Value, Sould be called Americas Worst Value

If this is indeed America's best value .... God save America. I have not stayed in a place like that in a long time. America's best once in a life time for me. Poor staff service, bare room, smelly place, bad location and expensive. Never again !

No coffee maker in room.

It's nothing super fancy, but if you're road-tripping or just in Monterey for a weekend and on a budget, there certainly isn't anything wrong with this hotel. It is relatively inexpensive, but it has everything you need. There are no superfluous amenities such as a pool. The owners were genuinely helpful!

You will need to drive from the hotel to downtown Cannery Row if that is your destination. It's not close enough to walk. If you do cancel a room(s), make sure to do so within their required 3 day window. If you do not cancel the room by that time, you will be charged for it.

Very good quality/price ratio. They gave us a king room instead of a queen room for the same price.

Free breakfast menu consisted of coffee/juice/sweet cake. Depends on what you call breakfast if this is satisfactory.

Dirty towels (two out of four). Advertised breakfast is poor.

There was no iron available in the room. Had to borrow the owners personal iron. The room could have been cleaner. One of the rooms was being used for "hourly" clients.

Tranquilo e confortável.

Era muito afastado da praia e do centro da cidade. O café da manhã se resumia a um simples café da cafeteira e um suco de laranja acompanhado de um pão doce de pacote.

Hotel pequeno, super confortável, funcionários atenciosos e em frente e do lado varias opções de comida! Vale a pena!

Tudo muito bom, o hotel e bem limpo, a acomodacao nao deixa nada a desejar, o custo beneficio e otimo, e e muito bem situado.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen und es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und freundlich und die Zimmer sauber und ordentlich.

Vietnamees restaurant op de hoek was subliem! Aanrader.

Het was niet best: service, locatie en het ontbijt kan je echt niet zo verkopen.
